The engine for this tractor is marked D180 and is available in various modifications: 140, 170 or 180 hp. Thanks to this variety of power, the power units can be operated in conjunction with various earthmoving equipment. The fuel for the D180 engine can be fuel such as diesel fuel, kerosene, and gas condensate. Depending on the conditions (in particular, climate) in which the special equipment will operate, the engine is equipped with a carburetor or electric start system. If necessary (if regular operation is planned at temperatures below -50 C), the machine is also equipped with a pre-heater.

Purpose and scope of application of machines
Bulldozers remove soil layer by layer in strips and move it while leveling the surface of the working area according to the design marks. The units are used to create embankments and equip pits when constructing foundations.
Bulldozer Chetra T15
The machines mix construction bulk materials, distribute them throughout the construction site, mechanize snow removal and eliminate icy conditions:
- Compact bulldozers CHETRA T9, T11 are suitable for small volumes of work. The machines are easily transported to the work site on a loading platform.
- For use in housing, road construction, and landscaping, it is optimal to use the universal CHETRA T15, T20.

Transmission
The series includes cars with both hydromechanical and modernized mechanical transmissions. The main advantage of a hydromechanical transmission is that automatic, stepless speed control is possible. In this case, the traction force directly depends on the traction resistance. The transmission uses the main components of the clutch, brakes, final clutches and gearboxes.

CHETRA bulldozer series
Each of the 7 produced bulldozer models allows the choice of several configuration options according to the following parameters:
- Power ratio from 114 to 434 kW – provides for the installation of both Russian YaMZ engines from Avtodizel OJSC and engines from the US company CUMMINS.
- Equipping the power transmission - mechanical, hydromechanical and hydrostatic type transmission.
- Mounted, hydraulically controlled bulldozer equipment:
- non-rotating - straight or hemispherical blade, installed perpendicular to the axis of the machine;
- rotary - with a blade that changes position along the horizon;
- universal - made of two articulated parts that change the installation angle.
- According to rated thrust class.

Tractor (T10M)
Tractor T10M is a collective designation for a family of industrial crawler tractors of traction class 10 for general and special purposes. Currently, about 80 modifications and configurations of tractors are produced, designed for operation in all climatic zones and performing various work on bulldozing and loosening soil, lifting, moving and laying pipes, as well as performing technological operations in a unit with mounted and trailed implements.
Production of tractors of the T10M family began in July 2003. The new family of tractors is the result of the work of the Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant to improve the quality, technical level, reliability and unification of their predecessors - the T-170M1 and T-10.02 tractors. The volume of accumulated technical solutions implemented in production made it possible to switch to the production of a more advanced T10M tractor. The basic model of this family is the T10M.0000 tractor.
Engine
The D180 engine, produced by ChTZ-Uraltrak LLC, is available in versions with a power of 140, 170 and 180 hp, which allows it to be used rationally and efficiently in a wide range of powerful earth-moving machines and various units. The ability of the engine to operate on various types of fuel (diesel, kerosene, gas condensate) makes the tractor and units based on it very effective in various regions. The engine, depending on operating conditions, can be equipped with various starting systems: electric starter and carburetor starting engine. It is possible to equip it with a pre-heater and other starting aids, which allows the engine to be operated in climate zones with air temperatures down to minus 50 °C.

Transmission
The use of two types of transmission: hydromechanical and improved mechanical allows the consumer to make a choice depending on specific conditions and requirements.
Transmissions are distinguished by the use of improved components. The hydromechanical transmission uses a gearbox with a matching gear ratio of 1.25, which increased the efficiency of the transmission as a whole and improved the traction characteristics of the tractor. The torque converter venting system has been improved. The design of the manual transmission gearbox has been improved in terms of the upper and lower shaft assemblies. This completely eliminates cases of spontaneous switching off of gears and ranges.
Hydromechanical transmission provides automatic stepless regulation of traction force and speed depending on traction resistance. It uses the final drive, final clutches, brakes and final drives found in a manual transmission.
The manual transmission provides eight forward speeds and four reverse speeds. Available in versions adapted and not adapted for the installation of a power take-off shaft and a creeper. Support system
The necessary rigidity of the supporting frame is ensured by a welded spatial structure, including housings for side clutches, box-section spars, a bumper, and a balance beam box. The frame of the swamp modification has elongated side members.
Chassis system
The tractor chassis is completely unified with its predecessors.
The type of running system is bogie with five-, six- or seven-roller bogies. The trolley suspension is semi-rigid three-point with a rigid balance beam and micro-sprung. The use of such a suspension makes it possible to rationally use the weight of the chassis when working with bulldozer equipment and, compared to a traditional spring suspension, to use the bulldozer unit more efficiently, especially on dense soils. On the frames of caterpillar bogies made of rectangular pipes, support and support rollers, a tension wheel and a caterpillar release mechanism are installed.
The basic version is a crawler bogie with six support and two support rollers (instead of the traditional 10 five-rollers for ChTZ tractors of the traction class). The use of six-roller trolleys significantly improves the traction properties and increases the productivity of the bulldozer-ripper unit.
The track used with minimal axial clearance has an increased service life of 7-10%. The service life of such a caterpillar is 10-22% higher than that of a “serial” one (depending on the soil).
It is possible to equip tractors with a dry sealed hinge and drive wheels with segments, as well as support rollers with increased load capacity (on request).
The drive wheels have an increased service life by an average of 20% due to the high mechanical properties of the segment material and hardening of the tooth surface. When teeth wear out, only the segments are replaced without removing the track and bogie. Also new is the one-piece disc idler wheel with machined running track.
“Swamp” tractors designed for work on soft soils use seven-roller bogies and 900 mm wide track shoes, which ensures a significant reduction in specific ground pressure compared to basic modifications.
Seven-wheel trolleys are also used on tractors used as a base for TR12 and TR20 pipelayers and for the KP-25 trailed crane.
Cabin
Frame, installed on a vibration-isolated platform, has a modern design. A large glass area, convenient location of controls, a sprung seat adjustable according to the weight and height of the operator, a hot-air heater, sun blinds, etc. provide increased comfort when working.
The cabin and workplace are now more responsive to consumer needs. The cabin has become stiffer and more airtight. “Split” front and rear glazing allows for the harshest operating conditions. Upon request, the cabin can be equipped with an emergency hatch in the roof, double-glazed windows for conditions in the far north, and “panoramic” windows providing unsurpassed visibility.
The safety instrument panel is equipped with indicators and indicators that allow the operator to control the operation of all major tractor systems.
An efficient multi-mode heating and ventilation unit based on the small-sized heater XEROS 4000 allows you to maintain microclimate parameters in the cabin under a wide variety of operating conditions.
An oil heater is additionally installed in the cabins of “northern” tractors with a mechanical transmission. Tractors intended for use in hot climates can be equipped with a RIO 3000 air conditioner (optional).
The modern PILOT seat provides comfort, excellent vibration isolation, reduces fatigue and gives a feeling of calm confidence. The seat meets the requirements of European standards.
New “flat” fuel tank with increased capacity: -20 liters more fuel, -better visibility.
At the customer's request, tractors can be equipped with a device for protecting the operator from rollovers and falling objects (ROPS–FOPS), a protective grille for the rear window of the cab, and air conditioning (optional).
Hydraulic system
Separate hydraulic system with gear type pump. Hydraulic system configuration depending on the installed attachments. The main hydraulic pump of the gear type NSh-100 is installed on the engine and is driven by its distribution gears. A full-flow filter with Regotmas filter elements has a cleaning fineness of 25 microns and is installed on the drain route. Hydraulic distributor P160, three-spool, three-position.
Chassis
The T10M tractor is equipped with a three-point semi-rigid suspension, which is equipped with a balancing beam and micro-sprung. This suspension configuration makes it possible to use the weight of the chassis to the maximum when working with mounted bulldozer equipment. Thanks to this, the machine’s performance when interacting with dense soil increases significantly (compared to a special vehicle with a conventional spring suspension).

The frames of the caterpillar bogies are equipped with support and support rollers made of rectangular pipes. The tension wheel and the track compression mechanism are also located here. The basic equipment of the T10M tractor is a caterpillar bogie with 2 support rollers and 6 road wheels. Thanks to six-roller bogies, the traction and coupling properties of the special vehicle are significantly improved.
Intended for work on moving unstable soils, the “swamp” modifications of tractors of this series have track shoes 900 mm wide and seven-roller bogies. By distributing the weight of the machine over a wider surface, the pressure on the ground is reduced. Pipelayers TR12, TR20 and trailed cranes model KP-25 are also equipped with seven-roll trolleys.

Hydraulic Features

Operator's cabin
The operator's cabin is mounted on a vibration-isolated platform. The cabin features a modern, ergonomic design and also has the following additional amenities:
- Suspended seat that can adapt to the height/weight of the operator
- Air heater for heating in the cold season
- Sun blinds
- Convenient location of controls and monitoring devices
The instrument panel is designed to be injury-proof; it is equipped with indicators and alarms, with the help of which the operator can constantly monitor the status of the main systems and components. The cab is also equipped with a safety cage that protects the operator from injury if objects fall or the machine tips over. Also, at the request of the customer, an air conditioning system can be installed in the cabin.
