Engine

Three types can be installed:

1. YaMZ-236ND-2 – six-cylinder four-stroke V-shaped power unit. Produced in Yaroslavl. It is liquid cooled and has a right camber angle. This motor model is the most popular, and its cost is less than the others.

In addition, a thermostat and a fan are installed in the engine to adjust the temperature. The fuel pump can also be adjusted to set the injection timing. To cool the engine oil, a liquid-oil heat exchanger and an oil purification complex are installed. The latter can regulate the rotation speed. All these units are configured to automatically start when the temperature of the liquid in the cooling system reaches a certain value. The transmission oil is cooled by another heat exchanger. It is located in the same functional unit with the radiator block. Starting is carried out directly via the 24 V electrical system.

Important parameters of the unit are the volume of 11.15 liters and torque of 883 Nm. Cylinder diameter 13 cm.

2. Commins QSB 6.7-C204 also with four strokes and six cylinders with a diameter of 102 mm. It is turbocharged with cooler and liquid cooled. The name of the unit reflects the name of the American manufacturer.

The main characteristics of this model are:

  • anti-rust cooling filter
  • oil cleaning system,
  • a ventilation system with a belt drive to start it and a separate heat exchanger.

All engine cylinders are arranged in a row; the engine has a volume of 6.7 liters. This is almost two times less than the previous model. Torque 938 Nm. The cost of such an engine is the highest among those installed.

3. Sisu Diesel 74 are extremely rare. Such engines are assembled in accordance with Finnish designs in Vladimir.

Chassis

The gearbox includes clutches in an oil environment. They perform a transfer function.

The torque converter is a three-element, single-stage one, which includes a gearbox. The latter, in turn, drives the pumps. Its connection to the gearbox is made through a coupling, and its location is on the rear axle. The connection to the motor occurs through a cardan transmission. The coupling is also involved in this process.

Onboard clutches are used to control braking . They are couplings. They work using hydraulics. The parking brake operates on the same principle. Cooling occurs through oil, and adjustments and adjustments are not necessary for the entire period of operation.

The two stages of the final drive are gears and a planetary type transmission. If repairs are necessary, it can be replaced quite easily due to simple fastening.

High traction forces are provided by installing a semi-rigid suspension. The same applies to coupling with the base, reducing the influence of mechanical and dynamic influences. The rollers are lubricated once at the factory and do not require any further intervention. The guide wheels behave the same way. The seals are installed “double cone”.

The Chetra T-11 transmission consists of several units: a control controller, hydraulic pumps, joysticks and hydraulic motors. It is produced in Germany and supplied directly to the factory. The transmission also includes a gearbox and final drives. Here the fuel supply is adjusted, which allows it to be spent rationally.

The chassis is based on a 3-point semi-rigid suspension. It uses double cone seals and lifetime lubrication. The idler wheels and rollers are lubricated during assembly at the factory and do not require subsequent maintenance. Prefabricated tracks include several parts and special elements that control the level of lubrication. The tension is adjusted using a syringe.
