Description of the crane chassis

The running gear of the DEK-321 crane consists of a running frame and two crawler bogies. The running frame is a prefabricated welded metal structure, which includes two bases and a support cylinder. The bases are square pipes that serve as guides and supports for the track beams. The support cylinder is a prefabricated metal structure with reinforcement elements located in the internal cavity. The bases of the running frame are attached to the side surface of the cylinder, and the rotary support device is attached to the upper base.

Each of the two tracked vehicles includes:

track beam;
movement mechanism with drive wheel;
tension wheel;
nine support wheels;
four support rollers;
caterpillar belt.

The caterpillar beam is a welded U-shaped structure made of rolled sheets. To improve the adhesion characteristics of the crane to the ground, additional weights are placed in the internal cavity of the beam. At one end of the beam there is a welded bracket for mounting the tension wheel with a track tensioning mechanism, and at the other there is a cast bracket for installing the drive wheel.

Four support rollers are installed on the upper plane of the beam. This method of installing beams allows you to change the crane track. Two long-stroke double-acting hydraulic cylinders are responsible for the longitudinal movement of the beams. Each running frame is equipped with an individual movement mechanism. The movement mechanism consists of an electric motor, a shoe brake, a four-speed gearbox and a drive wheel. The caterpillar track consists of fifty tracks, hingedly connected to each other by special mounting pins, which are held in place by bolts or cotter pins. rotation of the rotating part relative to the non-rotating part;

The OPU consists of two rings - outer and inner, between which there is a separator with balls. The outer ring with a gear rim is bolted to the running frame, the inner ring is bolted to the rotating part of the crane.

The load lifting mechanism includes two separate winches, each of which is equipped with a separate electric drive. Power supply for crane operation

The electricity required to operate the crane can be supplied in two different ways: either from its own 60 kilowatt diesel generator or from an external source. The crane mechanisms are powered by three-phase electric current with a voltage of 380 Volts and a frequency of 50 Hertz .
