    5292.00

The first copy of LiAZ-5292.00 was built and demonstrated to the general public at the Moscow Motor Show in 2003. The bus at that time had a power unit identical to the LiAZ-5256.25 - Caterpillar 3116 located transversely, and an automatic transmission from Voith model Diwa D 854.3E. It was equipped with Rába portal (“low-floor”) axles and a Csepel A-500.73-3520-00 steering gear. The model was put into mass production and began to arrive in small quantities in bus fleets No. , , and Moscow, as well as in the cities of Kursk, Voronezh, Ivanovo, etc., but the buses were still very “raw” and unsuitable for use. LiAZ-5292.00 was produced from 2004 to 2006. In Moscow, starting from 2014, buses of this modification began to be written off due to wear and tear of the equipment. According to current data, 16 buses of this modification are in operation in different parts of the Russian Federation, two of which are in Moscow (Vereyskaya Plaza), 1 copy was sent to the MGT Museum of Urban Transport, the rest of the buses of this modification are decommissioned, including all MGT linear buses.

    5292.20 (52922)

LiAZ-5292.20 was first demonstrated at the 2007 Moscow Motor Show. The modification was created with the help of the German company IVM Automotive, taking into account the requirements of the State Unitary Enterprise Mosgortrans. Buses of this modification are equipped with MAN D0836 LOH41 (Euro-3) engines located longitudinally, portal (“low-floor”) axles of the AV-132/87 type and an Ecomat automatic transmission ZF 6 HP 504C. Work is underway to attach an engine that meets Euro-4 standards. Since mid-2011, LiAZ-5292.20 has been produced only for regions. Starting from 2015, the very first buses of this modification began to be written off in Moscow due to wear and tear of equipment, and from 2016, buses manufactured in 2008 were also written off.

    5292.21 (529221)

Further development of LiAZ-5292.20. The main difference from its predecessor is the MAN D0836 LOH56 engine, which meets Euro-4 environmental standards.[2] Other differences are a different dashboard, similar to the Moscow LiAZ-6213.20 produced in 2009, and a new interior ceiling developed by KORA, as well as an exterior paint scheme similar to the LiAZ-6213.20 delivered at the end of 2010. The vehicles purchased by the State Unitary Enterprise Mosgortrans are also equipped with spot head optics from Hella and an air conditioning system (on the first copies of the Spheros brand, then Konvekta) in the passenger compartment and driver’s cabin (in buses supplied to Russian regions there is no air conditioning or forced ventilation). Since the summer of 2011, vehicles of this modification have been supplied en masse to Moscow bus fleets, and since mid-2012 to the regions. To date, 5 buses of this modification have been written off in Moscow - all due to fire and equipment wear.

    5292.22 (529222)

Modification with MAN D0836 LOH65 engine, meeting Euro 5 standards.[2] The first copy of this type was shown at the Comtrans-2011 exhibition in September 2011 and then sent for revision. Already in the SAS livery, the first LiAZ-5292.22 was sent to the 14th bus depot (14449). It features a new instrument panel, as well as a new driver's cabin interior and plastic podiums and wheel arch covers developed by KORA.

The modification was put into mass production in November 2011. The first production buses had a standard factory emblem and an interior identical to the buses of the LiAZ-5292.21 modification. Later buses have an updated factory logo and a modernized interior with plastic podiums developed by KORA. Buses produced since the summer of 2012 have an interior with yellow handrails, a solid windshield, a frame for the front route indicator in black and a modified rear - there are more slots for engine ventilation, the Konvekta brand air conditioning has also changed - it has become more powerful, although on the first few new ones “black-faced” buses are equipped with old-style Konvekta air conditioners. The new LiAZ-5292.22 buses produced today are equipped with Pilot seats and original tilt-and-turn doors.

At the end of 2013, production of an updated version of the 5292.22 bus began with front and rear masks similar to the LiAZ-5292.30 bus and all-glass doors. In December 2013, a series of 25 restyled LiAZ-5292.22 buses entered the 10th MGT bus fleet. In 2014, similar buses began to arrive at the branches of the State Unitary Enterprise MO Mostransavto. As of today, 1 bus of this modification (15286) has been written off in Moscow due to a serious accident.

    5292.22-01

This modification of the bus is equipped with a training cabin in the bus interior, as well as ventilation hatches similar to those used on MAZ buses. Everything else is the same as LiAZ-5292.22. There is one experimental bus of this modification with lean-sliding middle and rear doors in operation in the 14th bus fleet in Moscow.

    5292.22-02[3]

Suburban version of LiAZ-5292.22. This modification does not have a rear door, and the number of seats has been increased to 32. The first fifty buses arrived at the Sochiavtotrans municipal unitary enterprise in January 2014.

    5292.22-77

An improved version of the LiAZ-5292.22 with an increase in the passage in the rear of the bus and the addition of an additional third seat in front of the engine shaft, an enlarged engine shaft and new optics for the front and rear of the bus. A batch of these buses has been purchased en masse by the State Unitary Enterprise Mosgortrans since the fall of 2015. Starting from January-February 2016, buses are supplied with new seats and air conditioners of the Spheros brand, a modification of which was installed on the first LiAZ-5292.21 , as well as Konvekta brand air conditioners installed on the latest LiAZ-5292.22 . At the moment, deliveries of buses of this modification to the State Unitary Enterprise Mosgortrans have been suspended due to an increase in the cost of the MAN engine.

    5292.30

Modification with a Scania DC09 91A engine that meets Euro 4 standards.[4] The first copy with a completely updated design was shown at the World of Buses 2013 exhibition. At the Comtrans-2013 exhibition, a serial version of the bus of this modification was shown. The first thirty buses arrived at the Sochi branch of the State Unitary Enterprise Passazhiravtotrans at the end of 2013. Buses of this modification were involved in transport services for the 2014 Olympic Winter Games.

    5292.60

Modification with a YaMZ-536111 engine that meets Euro-4 standards and a ZF EcoLife 6AP1400B automatic transmission. The first buses of this modification began to arrive in St. Petersburg in November 2013. Since 2014, buses of this modification have been purchased en masse by the State Unitary Enterprise MO Mostransavto. On December 31, 2014, buses of this modification began to arrive at the municipal unitary enterprise MTK "Rostovpassazhirtrans" in the city of Rostov-on-Don. On January 27, 2015, buses went on routes No. 3, 3a and 7.

In July 2014, one bus arrived in Nizhny Novgorod for testing.

    5292.60-60

A version of LiAZ-5292.60 shortened to 10.5 meters. It exists in both urban (three doors, twenty-two seats) and suburban (two doors, twenty-six seats) versions. These modifications were developed by order of the State Unitary Enterprise MO Mostransavto. Buses of these models began to arrive at the branches of the State Unitary Enterprise MO Mostransavto in the summer of 2014.

    5292.65

Modification with YaMZ-536 engine, meeting Euro-5 standards. The bus of this modification is available in several versions - a two-door semi-low-floor with 33 seats, a high-floor rear axle Raba-718, identical to buses of the LiAZ-5256 and LiAZ-5293 brands, intended for suburban transportation, a standard completely low-floor bus, identical to the rest of the LiAZ- 5292 with rear shaft and standard slightly shorter buses. The first experimental bus of this modification in a semi-low-floor version was released in September 2015, serial production started in April 2016 (mainly the production of completely low-floor buses). The first batch of serial buses began to arrive at Transavtoliz LLC (formerly Sever-Avto LLC) (a subsidiary of Autoline), which will be engaged in urban transportation on minibus routes and bus routes transferred from MGT, adapted for preferential travel and travel on city MHT tariffs. Starting from May 9, 2016, buses of this modification began operation on Moscow routes. At the moment, buses of this modification operate in the companies of the 20th taxi fleet; several transport companies that became part of Transavtoliz LLC; GEPART LLC.

    5292.65-77

An improved version of the LiAZ-5292 with an enlarged rear of the bus, a huge shaft and the addition of a third seat near the engine shaft. The modification is similar in appearance to LiAZ-5292.22-77 . A distinctive feature of buses of this modification, like other buses registered with MGT, is a domestically produced air conditioner. As of today, LiAZ-5292.65-77 have begun to arrive en masse at the 17th MGT bus fleet under a life cycle contract. Almost all the buses from the first steel delivery reached the line.

GAZ Group has developed the LiAZ-5292 LNG (liquefied natural gas) bus. The bus passed certification tests and received vehicle type approval.

The bus was presented at the opening ceremony of a complex for the production of liquefied natural gas, held in Magnitogorsk. The flagship city model LiAZ-5292 LNG is the first Russian certified bus to use new environmentally friendly fuel.

At the event in Magnitogorsk, the first refueling of a bus with gas fuel produced in the new liquefied natural gas complex took place. In the future, the vehicle will go into test operation on regular routes in Chelyabinsk, which is included in the list of regions participating in the Ecology national project. After test operation, the Likinsky Bus Plant will begin preparations for the production of the first pilot batch of LiAZ-5292 LNG buses, scheduled for the fourth quarter of this year.

The new modification of the LiAZ-5292 LNG bus is designed to carry 106 passengers and retains all the advantages of the base model: a low floor level, a spacious storage area, a kneeling system that allows the bus body to be tilted towards the doors for convenient boarding and disembarking of passengers. The bus has an air conditioning system with uniform distribution of air flow throughout the cabin. LiAZ is equipped with a mechanical ramp for unhindered entry into the cabin for passengers with limited mobility, special seats for wheelchairs, and communication buttons with the driver.

In the LiAZ-5292 LNG bus, gas fuel is filled into a cryotank with a capacity of 375 liters, located in the rear overhang of the vehicle. The volume of the bus's cryogenic tank ensures that the vehicle's power reserve on a single fill-up is over 300 km. The technologies used when storing fuel in the tank maintain a constant fuel temperature of -160°C and ensure that the fuel is not sensitive to ambient temperature. LiAZ-5292 LNG is equipped with a domestic gas engine YaMZ-536.

The use of natural gas can significantly reduce fuel costs compared to gasoline and diesel fuel. In addition, natural gas is one of the most environmentally friendly types of motor fuel. The main advantage of LNG technologies compared to other types of gas fuel is a large range between refuelings.

GAZ Group is a leading company in Russia in the production of commercial vehicles powered by gas fuel. The company produces a full range of compressed natural gas (CNG) equipment: buses of all classes and purposes, light commercial vehicles, trucks and special equipment created on their basis. Before the start of mass production, each model undergoes long-term testing to ensure safety and reliability: at test sites, in difficult terrain, and in test operation conditions on real routes. The partnership of GAZ Group with leading manufacturers of gas equipment, a full cycle of testing and modern production technologies make it possible to ensure maximum reliability of the equipment.

    Gas engine versions

    5292.67

Modification with a gas version of the YaMZ-536 diesel engine. Initially it was planned to assign the bus the index LiAZ-5292.90 , but in recent months the index has been renumbered. At the moment, only 1 bus of this modification has been produced and in May 2016 it began testing with passengers in Yekaterinburg. The fate of launching this modification into mass production will depend on the test results.

    5292.70 (52927)

Gas modification of the LiAZ-5292.00 bus. Instead of a Caterpillar 3116 engine, a Cummins CGe 250 30 engine is installed (according to the manufacturer - MAN E0836 LOH01 (Euro-5)[2]). A total of two buses of this modification were produced. K: Wikipedia: Articles without sources (type: not specified)[ source not specified 2985 days

]. In January 2016, 5 buses arrived in Nalchik[5]. One LiAZ-52927 bus has been in use at the branch of the 11th bus depot of the State Unitary Enterprise Mosgortrans since 2006, but was written off in 2015 due to wear and tear of the equipment. The bus had a transverse Cummins CGe250 engine and a Voith automatic transmission with bevel gear. Due to the poor location of the cooling system radiator, the engine began to heat up as soon as the bus speed exceeded 30 km/h. The bus was used only in the winter season and was written off with a mileage of less than 200 thousand km.

    5292.71 (52927 EEV)

Modification with a MAN E0836 LOH01 gas engine that meets EEV standards (Euro 5+) and a new generation automatic transmission ZF EcoLife 6 AP 1200B (installed only on the very first exhibition vehicle of this modification).[6] The first copy of this modification was first shown at the Busworld 2010 exhibition in July 2010. It demonstrated a new interior and a new front mask design for buses of the LiAZ-5292 family. In 2012, LiAZ-5292.71 was put into mass production. The first 40 buses of this model arrived at the 11th bus depot branch of the State Unitary Enterprise Mosgortrans without air conditioning, but were later returned to the plant for modification. Air conditioning was installed on the buses, and gas cylinders were moved forward. The next batch of 20 buses arrived with air conditioning. Since April 2012, buses of this modification have been equipped with air conditioning. After the rupture of a CNG/CNG-2 gas cylinder on 05/09/2013, all gas buses in Moscow were temporarily removed from operation. In 2014, after the bus manufacturer replaced CNG/CNG-2 cylinders with CNG/CNG-3 cylinders and eliminated design deficiencies identified during operation, the operation of this bus model in Moscow was gradually fully restored. Thirty buses of this modification operate in Chelyabinsk (from July-September 2014), thirty-six in St. Petersburg and twenty-nine buses in Khimki. In December 2015, the first batch of this type of buses arrived in Simferopol. She started work on July 15, 2016.

LiAZ-5292.67 CNG - environmentally friendly new generation buses powered by natural gas

Distinctive features of this transport are low entry levels, access to the Internet and USB charging, and a modern climate system to ensure passenger comfort.

A mechanical ramp and specially equipped seats for passengers with limited mobility enhance the barrier-free environment. The LiAZ-5292.67 CNG bus can accommodate up to 105 people, including 30 seats and one wheelchair space.

All buses are completely low-floor (no steps), and are also equipped with a mechanical ramp and an electronic system for tilting the body towards the stop, making it easier to board and disembark passengers with strollers, disabled people, elderly people, passengers with bulky luggage, bicycles or scooters. Buses also have special places for guide dogs. LiAZ-5292.67 CNG is equipped with driver communication buttons, electronic route indicators, air conditioners, USB chargers, Wi-Fi routers, and a video surveillance system. A spacious storage area reduces the risk of contracting viral diseases on the bus.

The driver's workplace meets international standards for comfort and ergonomics. The dashboard is equipped with a multimedia screen and, together with the steering column, is adjustable in height and tilt. The driver's workplace is equipped with an ergonomic air-suspended seat with armrests, adjustable backrest tilt and electric heating, which is especially important in cold climates.

The buses run on compressed natural gas (CNG - compressed natural gas) and are equipped with YaMZ-536 engines meeting the Euro-5 environmental standard. Due to its chemical composition, compressed natural gas burns without producing smoke, and the content of harmful oxides is four times lower than the permissible limits established by the standard, which is especially important in large cities. Also, the cost of gas fuel is significantly lower than diesel, which can significantly reduce the costs of the passenger carrier.

Not so long ago, Chelyabinsk became the city where test operation of the new gas model began in Russia. LiAZ-5292.67 CNG (liquefied natural gas), running on liquefied natural gas - developed by GAZ Group.

The main advantage of LNG technologies compared to other types of gas fuel is a large range between refuelings.

It is planned that in the near future the city’s vehicle fleet will also be replenished with LiAZ LNG buses, in addition to the already supplied CNG buses.

GAZ Group is one of the leading companies in Russia in the production of commercial vehicles powered by gas fuel, producing a full range of vehicles powered by compressed natural gas, including:

    • buses of all classes and purposes;
    • light commercial;
    • trucks;
    • special equipment created on the basis of trucks.

The equipment is manufactured at leading Russian enterprises using modern bus manufacturing technologies: Likinsky Bus Plant (LiAZ), Kurgan Bus Plant (KAvZ), Pavlovsk Bus Plant (PAZ), Gorky Automobile Plant (GAZ). Models undergo long-term testing before production begins, during which the safety and reliability of the vehicles is ensured. These tests take place at testing grounds, in difficult terrain, under test operation conditions on real routes.

    Electric bus LiAZ-6274

In June 2012, an experimental LiAZ-6274

    .
The bus is equipped with lithium-ion batteries manufactured by . The estimated maximum range is 200 km.[10][11] This electric bus was transferred to FATP for testing and was assigned the number 08106. Unfortunately, this electric bus very quickly broke down, tests of the electric bus with passengers never took place and the electric bus returned to the factory. Unsuccessful testing of the model called into question the launch of LiAZ-6274 into mass production.

What else do you need to know LIAZ 529260

These two modifications have virtually no other noticeable differences. In conclusion, we should dwell on the official starting price for the LIAZ 529260 bus that is relevant for the Russian market today.

On average, dealers ask for about 7.5 million rubles for this model, but it should also be taken into account that the cost of imported components today can grow very quickly, so in different regions, prices for some configurations of these machines may vary greatly.

Depending on customer requirements, the bus can be equipped with a number of additional options. Thus, there is a modification that runs on compressed natural gas, and as additional options you can order a northern version, an automatic fire extinguishing system, a ticker in the cabin, an electronic tachograph, various alarm options, parking sensors, etc.

    Restyling of the model

The next restyling of the LiAZ 5292 was prepared in 2022. The updated model has the following differences:

    • New fiberglass masks.
    • No steps.
    • Kniling body tilt system.
    • Large storage area.
    • Entry/exit ramp and special mounts for wheelchairs.

Particularly noteworthy are the new fiberglass masks on the restyled LiAZ 5292 buses, which significantly changed the appearance of the front part. Here are their advantages:

    1. Modern look.
    2. The material does not corrode.
    3. The mask has a very low weight, which has a positive effect on dynamics and fuel consumption.
    4. The mask consists of separate elements, so repairs are cheaper.

LiAZ version 529265, available at Rusbusinessavto, has a passenger capacity of 28+1 seats. The bus has a large storage area, making its total capacity 108 people.

The model is equipped with a YaMZ 53633 SCR E5 engine with a power of 276 hp, developed at 2300 rpm.

Despite the fact that this is one of the budget modifications, it has all the advantages of the LiAZ 5292, such as low-floor design, which reduces the time for passengers to enter the cabin and the vehicle to travel the route by 15% compared to models equipped with steps. The “kneeling” system tilts the body to the side where passengers are boarding and disembarking during a stop.

    Flaws

    • On LiAZ-5292.21 models, due to insufficient thermal insulation of the engine compartment and poor distribution of air entering through the air conditioner (or through narrow windows), conditions in the rear of the cabin in the hot season are created that are very far from comfortable.
    • Plastic wheel arches easily break on snow.
    • Reflective stickers on the floor near the doors quickly come off.
    • In some versions, the interior trim is made of a material that easily absorbs dirt, making the panels difficult to wash.
    • Bus maintenance is very expensive. Spare parts are much more expensive than other models.
    • The passage at the back is so narrow that during peak hours it is sometimes impossible to board the bus due to it being packed to capacity, or access to empty seats at the back of the bus is only possible through the crowd standing in the front of the bus.

Exterior and interior of the new bus

LiAZ-529260 is a modified shortened version of the LiAZ-5292 bus, which was developed to serve guests of the 2014 Sochi Olympics.

The latter turned out to be not only quite comfortable, but also a very reliable bus, which allowed it to become officially recognized as the best commercial vehicle of the year in our country. Suffice it to say that the aggregate base of this bus ensures its very long service life, exceeding 1 million km.

LIAZ 529260 photos clearly show that the interior of the bus also meets modern standards. In particular, there is a place for attaching a wheelchair for a disabled person. The angle of inclination of the bus towards the doors can be adjusted up to 7 degrees, which, together with a mechanical ramp, provides the most comfortable conditions for boarding passengers at stops.

The ease of entry and exit for passengers due to the low floor level makes it possible, on average, to travel the route by bus by 15% faster.

The bus driver's seat also differs favorably in terms of comfort and ergonomics from what can be seen today in most domestic cars. This is facilitated by a new electronic instrument cluster, as well as a special box in which the driver can store his personal belongings and install additional equipment.
