Under each of the screws there are markings in the form of the letters L, H and T. The first bolt is needed to adjust the motor when operating at low speeds, the second – regulates the operation of the engine at high speeds. The third screw is needed to adjust the idle speed. The factory carburetor setting algorithm should look like this:

1. First you will need to return all the bolts to the factory settings;
2. After this, you need to start the chainsaw and start turning the bolt L until the engine begins to rotate at the highest speed. Once the motor shaft reaches maximum speed, bolt L will need to be turned 1/4 turn in the opposite direction;
3. Next, you will need to connect a tachometer to the Poulan saw and start turning bolt H until the motor reaches maximum speed. After this, you need to compare the tachometer readings with the instructions in the engine operating instructions. If the indicators match, then you need to move on to the next stage;
4. If, when the engine is running at maximum speed, the chain on the standard tire begins to rotate, then you need to start turning screw T in different directions. This must be done until the chain stops.

After setting up, you will need to assemble the chainsaw and continue using it.
