Truck cranes 50 tons
This type of equipment is represented by only two models: LTM 1050-3.1 and LTM 1055-3.1. The first has a larger boom reach (three meters), but the crane’s lifting capacity is limited to 50 tons. The second boom reaches 2.5 meters, while the maximum weight available for lifting is 55 tons.

The only “representative” of this category is the LTM 1070-4.1 self-propelled truck crane. With a boom reach of two and a half meters, the crane’s lifting capacity is up to 70 tons.

The largest category, which includes six cars:
- LTM 1090-4.1. The lifting capacity of this crane, equipped with two engines, is up to 90 tons with a boom reach of 2.5 meters. There is only one model presented in this category - LTM 11200-9.1. The boom reach of the equipment is 2.5 meters. The length of the telescopic boom can range from 18.3 to 100 meters. The maximum height when using a telescopic boom will be from 24 to 126 meters.
Walking platform
The Liebherr R 944 is characterized by optional distribution of machine and load weight in the implement. This increases the productivity of equipment and reduces the risk of it tipping over and wheels slipping. The excavator is not equipped with a gearbox, which ensures ease of operation. The maximum driving speed is 5 km/h.
Prices for Liebherr excavators
We will not talk about prices for new products. Only powerful, firmly standing enterprises with multimillion-dollar annual turnover can spend money. As for used cars that were discontinued quite recently (see table), it all depends on the year of manufacture, the exhausted life of the engine and the condition of the unit. In addition, the price of a Liebherr crawler excavator, the price of which varies from the above indicators, may be different in a particular region.
Engine
The Liebherr 904 model is equipped with a 4-stroke low-emission in-line diesel unit model Liebherr D 934 with direct fuel injection, turbocharging and intercooler.
Power plant characteristics:

- number of cylinders – 4;
- cylinder diameter – 122 mm;
- design speed – 1800 rpm.
The unit complies with environmental requirements stage IIIA/Tier 3. The engine uses a liquid cooling system with an oil cooler (dry type air cleaner with main and protective filters). The power plant was created specifically for construction equipment. It is distinguished by a long service life, increased weight and volume. The motor is capable of operating for a long time at large angles of inclination of the excavator.
Operator's cabin
The excavator is equipped with an improved ergonomic cabin, equipped with an audio recorder, security and air conditioning systems. The large viewing angle is due to the installation of wide glass, this guarantees high safety of work. To protect the operator, there are reinforcements in the cabin, FOPS, ROPS and FGPS systems.
The Liebherr 944C comes with a rear view camera as an option.
Modifications
Modifications of this model include:
- Liebher 944B, characterized by different overall dimensions and an improved power plant. A bucket of increased volume is installed on it;
- The Liebherr 944 Litronic is distinguished by the installation of an improved hydraulic system, which guarantees efficiency in terms of fuel consumption and maintenance work.
The productivity of modified models is higher than that of a standard excavator.

Mounted units
The standard equipment of the excavator includes the installation of a system for quickly replacing working equipment. SW66 is equipped with a hydraulic drive and an automatic lubrication mechanism.
