Moreover, the manufacturer calls its transmission “wear-free”: it does not have a torque converter, gearbox, control differentials and friction steering clutches, usually found in other equipment, and specialists tried to make hydraulic pumps and hydraulic motors as reliable as possible.

The driving speed is adjustable in three ranges, which can be pre-selected and further programmed using a button to suit application requirements. After programming, the settings are saved in memory and remain available even when the computer is restarted. In addition to the joystick, the operator can control the speed with a pedal. Since the machine is equipped with a hydrostatic drive, the machine does not lose control and does not roll even on steep slopes. The operator controls the brake by simply moving the control joystick backwards. As soon as the bulldozer stops, the parking brake is automatically applied.

Particularly noteworthy is the outstanding ergonomic design of the Liebherr PR 764 cab. The controls are conveniently located on the front console within easy reach. ROPS/FOPS protection is also integrated into the cabin. Large windows provide exceptional views of the work area.
