Design features

  • The body is made according to a modular design and consists of 3 parts: a front compartment for fire fighting equipment, a water tank, a compartment for fire fighting equipment combined with a pump compartment.
  • Heating of the pump compartment - autonomous diesel heater.
  • It is possible to locate the pump in the crew cabin behind the second row of seats.
  • The pump is driven from a standard power take-off.
  • The two-row crew cabin is all-welded, detachable (saloon type), the front part is folding. Additional heating – autonomous diesel heater.

At the customer's request, the plant can do the following:

  • Make a water tank from stainless steel.
  • Insulation of the tank and foam tank with polyurethane foam.
  • Heating: fuel intakes, fuel lines, fine filter and coarse filter.
  • Insulation of the battery compartment.
  • Install curtain doors for compartments.

The hinged doors of the compartments are made with telescopic supports for lifting. There are folding steps at the rear of the body. The monitor can be located on the crew cabin or the roof of the body. Fire-fighting equipment is located on the roof of the body and in compartments for easy access and quick removal. Securely secured with special mechanisms, clamps and other fastening elements.

The main purpose-built fire truck, all-terrain, in an isothermal body made of five-layer SUPERTERM sandwich panels on an all-wheel drive vehicle chassis, with a water tank volume of at least 4 m³ (for AC-4.0-70) / 5 m³ (for AC-4, 0-100) and the volume of the foam concentrate tank, respectively, is at least 0.5 m³ / 1 m³.

Purpose:

  • to deliver personnel to the place of call;
  • for extinguishing fires and carrying out rescue operations using transported fire extinguishing agents, firefighting and rescue equipment;
  • to supply fire extinguishing agents from other sources to the fire site.

AC can be used as a foam extinguishing vehicle. In this case, the water tank is filled with 1%, 3% or 6% foaming agent and serves as an additional source of foaming agent.

The AC can be used as an independent combat unit, as well as as a pumping unit when working “in pumping” with one or more other tank trucks.

The AC consists of the following main parts:

  • basic chassis with a cabin to accommodate the driver and combat crew (6 people);
  • additional transmission drive of the pumping unit;
  • AC body compartments to accommodate the pumping unit and PTV;
  • tanks for water or foam concentrate;
  • foam concentrate tank;
  • pumping unit with water and foam communications (including an ejection type foam mixer);
  • remotely controlled monitor with a control unit located in the driver's cabin and an additional remote wireless control panel;
  • autonomous heaters (heaters) for the combat crew cabin, a water tank and a foam concentrate tank, a pumping unit with water-foam communications;
  • additional electrical equipment (including a stationary car radio and a special loudspeaker device).

The AC layout provides easy access to all devices and parts that are subject to maintenance and monitoring during operation.

Footboards, stair steps, and AC working platforms are made of anti-slip material. Platforms on the roof of the AC and open platforms intended for people to work have a perimeter fence with a height of at least 0.1 m and an anti-slip coating. To access equipment located on the roof, the AC is equipped with a stationary ladder.

AC body doors are curtain type, made of light metals or their alloys; equipped with self-actuating locking devices, clamps that hold them in any position, and an open position alarm with its indication in the driver’s cab.

The shelves in the compartments used to accommodate PTVs have holes for draining accumulated residual water, foam solution and condensate. The PTV, located in the compartments of the AC body, is secured with quick-release devices.

Placing PTV in compartments takes into account the tactics of its operational use, ensures reliable fixation of equipment, accessibility, convenience and safety during removal and installation.

The sleeves in rolls, laid in the compartment, are separated by partitions with a smooth surface, which prevent mutual abrasion of the sleeves during the movement of the AC.

To heat the AC body compartments, which house the pumping unit with communications, there is an autonomous diesel heater.

Combat crew cabin (CBC)
