A semi-trailer is a vehicle whose front part is attached to a truck tractor and rests on it. It moves thanks to the draft power of the truck engine. The three-axle flatbed semi-trailer MAZ-9758 is produced by the Minsk Automobile Plant. It is made like a van. Recommended for use when transporting goods in the international transport system. It meets all the requirements of European standards (Tir).
MAZ-9758 is designed for transporting various types of cargo on public roads as part of a road train.

The MAZ-9758 semi-trailer weighs 8.5 thousand kilograms. It is capable of transporting cargo with a total weight of 26,000 kg. Thus, its total weight reaches 34.5 thousand kilograms. March 1981 is considered the beginning of the glorious journey of the MAZ 5232 tractor. Its carrying capacity was just over twenty tons, the unit weighed 34 tons. The car had a comfortable cabin, which even included a sleeping place. Back then it was still a notable innovation.
The tractors have become the best vehicles in their class. The model won prizes at international exhibition forums.
Specialists from MAN took an active part in the design of the model. In 1988, the engines of German motorists appeared on the MAZ 54323, which had a positive effect on the technical characteristics of the car.
Production of this model ended only in 2008. They were replaced by MAZ 5440 series cars.

Brake system
The brakes are equipped with a dual-circuit pneumatic drive. Moreover, the parking block is based on the brake of the stern wheels, which are pneumatically driven. It should be noted that there is an auxiliary brake, which operates a motor retarder with a pneumatic cylinder. Thus, a special mechanism has been installed to prevent condensate from freezing.

The front suspension is made up of leaf springs and shock absorbers. Later versions have a torsion stabilizer. The rear axle is based on leaf springs and additionally installed air springs. Some modifications are equipped with a locking differential. The power plant is located in front, it is closed by a folding cabin.

Power supply
Power supply units have 24 volts. There are two rechargeable batteries, but you can add two additional ones. The mechanism contains a generator (G273V), in which a voltage regulator is installed. In general, the power supply circuit is simple, reliable and efficient; it can serve several nodes at once.
Transmission
The clutch has one and two dry discs. Gearboxes are only mechanical with a number of speeds from 5 to 16. On the rear axle there are bevel pairs, as well as additional planetary gears enclosed in the hubs. There is a cardan shaft between the bridge and the gearbox. There are also brake units that have a pneumatic drive. On some models you can find ABS.
The double-disc clutch was produced (like the engine) at the Yaroslavl Machine-Building Plant and had a pneumatic booster. The main disks were equipped with damper pads (their outer diameter was 42.2 cm).
This transmission had two speeds and a multiplier. Synchronizers were present only on the stern gears. The transmission was switched using a “telescope” drive, which was based in the gearbox itself.
Cabin
There is a large hatch in the cabin roof. The ceiling is high. A specially shaped fairing was often installed on the outside, which improved the aerodynamic characteristics of the vehicle. The cabin is for two people, there are berths (2 pieces). The seats are adjustable according to the following parameters:
