Travel speed range with the reduction gear turned off: from 2.5 km/h (in 1st gear) to 33.4 km/h (in 9th gear). When moving in reverse, the MTZ-82.1 tractor develops speeds from 5.27 km/h (1st gear) to 8.89 km/h (2nd gear).

When the reduction gear is turned on, possible speeds are from 1.89 km/h (I) to 25.25 km/h (IX), when driving in reverse - from 3.98 km/h to 6.78 km/h (1- I and 2nd gear respectively).

Hydraulic system

The tractor is equipped with a universal separate-unit hydraulic system, the tank capacity of which is 25.5 liters (+/-0.5 l). The pump flow data (at rated crankshaft speed) is at least 45 l/min. The maximum pressure in the hydraulic system is 20-2 MPa.

The hydraulic system is equipped with a gear pump NSh32A-3 (or NSh32M-3 of right rotation). The unit flow is at least 45 liters per minute. The pump drive is from the power unit through the drive gears of the power take-off shaft.

Which tractor is better MTZ or YuMZ?

The purpose of tractors is almost the same; they can do any work. No matter how much fans of one side or another argue about the merits and demerits of cars, it is very difficult to finally give an unambiguous answer.

The common base model for the units is the MTZ-5 with a power of 62 hp. • The YuMZ tractor has an independent 2-speed drive; in the MTZ the PTO can be switched and operated, in addition to the independent mode, in synchronous mode.
• MTZ has two levers for controlling the gearbox, while YuMZ has a simplified version with one handle.
• YuMZ tractors are equipped with a more reliable clutch.
• YuMZ has a rigid suspension, while MTZ has a telescopic suspension, which provides more comfortable working conditions.

To summarize the above, we note that each owner should draw conclusions about the advantages of a particular model independently, taking into account the priority of certain indicators and make a choice in favor of ergonomics or technicality.

History of the Belarus tractor

The predecessor of the modern MTZ-82 "Belarus" entered production in 1974. The Council of Ministers of the USSR ordered the launch of production of universal row-crop tractors with a power of 75-80 hp. The model was made on the basis of the previous version of the tractor - MTZ-50. The new car received a cabin with a large glass area and a new engine from the Minsk Motor Plant.
