Design features

• The body is designed with a central location of the tank, left and right compartments for fire fighting equipment along the sides, and a compartment for fire and water supply combined with the pump compartment. • The water tank and foam tank are made of low-density polyethylene. • The pump is driven from a standard power take-off. • Double-row crew cabin, all-welded, detachable (saloon type), the front part is folding. It is possible to install a combat crew cabin in the form of a separate cabin-type module for 4 seats behind a standard cabin equipped with an intercom. Additional heating – autonomous diesel heater. • Heating of the pump compartment – autonomous diesel heater.

At the customer's request, the plant can do the following:

• Insulation of the tank and foam tank with polystyrene foam. • Heating: fuel intakes, fuel lines, fine filter and coarse filter. • Insulation of the battery compartment.

The compartment doors are curtain with a drum winding system or folding, made with telescopic supports for lifting. The pump compartment door is hinged and has telescopic supports for lifting. In the rear part of the body there are folding aluminum ladders for climbing to the roof of the body. The monitor can be located on the crew cabin or the roof of the body. Fire-fighting equipment is located on the roof of the body and in compartments for easy access and quick removal. Securely secured with special mechanisms, clamps and other fastening elements.

URAL-4320

Heavy class tank trucks with a water tank volume of 5-8 m3 are being developed on the long-wheelbase three-axle chassis 4320. This chassis is suitable for mounting large-sized equipment and is not limited in operation by the type of terrain. Mounting base 4320 – from 3 to 6 meters. An advantage of the chassis is the ability to install double cabs with a berth. This allows you to deliver not only a team of six people to the incident area, but also technical specialists and accompanying persons.

Firefighting tankers on the URAL-4320 6×6 chassis are used both as separate combat units and as technical means for pumping water from an external source or supplying high-pressure fluid from another vehicle in conditions of difficult access to the stock of fire fighting equipment in populated areas. They cope with the assigned tasks perfectly, regardless of external operating conditions: they perform functions uninterruptedly at temperatures of -45...+40°C.

Structurally, this model is a combination of a modular body with a two-row cabin. In the body part there is a front compartment for PTV, a tank and a compartment for PTV with a compartment for the pump. An independent diesel heater is used to heat the systems. The pump drive operates from PTO.

The compartment doors are folding and mounted on telescopic supports. The fire monitor is mounted on the crew cabin or on the roof of the body. The use of a long-wheelbase chassis made it possible to increase the number of compartments for anti-tank weapons.

The combat crew cabin is a standard cabin of a vehicle chassis, saloon type, 2-door , 2-seater (or with a separate crew cabin, 4-door, 7-seater). There are handrails in the cabin doors and at the doorways for the convenience and prompt landing of the combat crew. The 2nd row of the cabin has 4 seats with individual backrests. A single-cylinder breathing apparatus with compressed air may be placed in the immediate vicinity. Each seat has a separate mechanism for securing the breathing apparatus, and under the seats there are places for fire-fighting equipment. The created unified space for placing fighters allows the team’s work to be more coordinated and efficient. The cabin is equipped with handrails, interior lamps, a heater, a sunroof and special instrument panels for vehicle control systems and equipment. There are steps for the convenience of lifting the team, which are performed in a stationary or automatic form.

The tank and foam tank are made of corrosion-resistant reinforced fiberglass (optional carbon steel, stainless steel, polypropylene and polyethylene). The mounting of the tank to the body contains elastic damping elements that prevent the frame from twisting from harmful effects on the tank. Optional possibility of installing autonomous or stationary heating of containers, as well as their insulation.

The body and cabin are a prefabricated structure made of aluminum profiles , lined with aluminum sheets using adhesive technology (optional - lined with reinforced fiberglass sheets). The body is an integral part of the superstructure and serves to accommodate and protect the PTV and ASIO from damage during transportation. Our own sandwich panels are used for increased heat and noise insulation, as well as for increased comfort.

The body consists of compartments for placing PTV and ASIO, as well as a pump compartment in the rear part of the body.

The attachment of the body to the subframe contains elastic damping elements that prevent the harmful effects of frame torsion on the body.

Doors of compartments are curtain type (optional option to make panel type doors). Curtains are made of aluminum alloys.

The pump compartment door is curtain type (it is optional to make panel type doors, in which case it acts as a protective canopy). Curtains are made of aluminum alloys.

All body doors are equipped with self-actuating locking devices that hold them in the closed position, as well as an open position sensor with its indication in the driver's cabin on the control panel.

Doors , hatches, and other structural elements of the car that increase the overall dimensions of the vehicle that are open when parked are equipped with reflective elements and other signaling devices that indicate the dimensions of the vehicle when the doors are open.

Door openings, hatch covers and other body elements have seals that protect the compartments from precipitation, dust and dirt.

Placing PTV in compartments takes into account the tactics of its operational use, ensures reliable fixation of equipment, accessibility, convenience and safety during removal and installation.

When placing equipment, PTV is grouped by purpose groups (standard):

— personal equipment of firefighters;

— equipment for water intake and supply of the first trunk;

— equipment for lifting personnel to heights;

— equipment for opening and dismantling structures;

— equipment for laying and servicing main hose lines, etc.;

- other equipment.

Fire-fighting equipment is securely installed and secured in the compartments of the fire truck.

The canisters with suction hoses are installed in the upper part on the roof of the fire truck and are also made of corrosion-resistant materials.

Ladders for climbing to the roof of the car are made of aluminum alloy.

For the convenience of the team, the body has folding steps .

The fire truck is equipped with a pumping unit consisting of:

— a fire pump with a vacuum water intake system and a manual foam dosing system (optional option to install an automatic foam mixing system);

— water and foam communications with shut-off and connecting valves of manual control (optional ability to install remote control);

- control systems.

Fire pump NTsPN-40/100 is installed in the pump compartment (optional installation of fire pumps of all types with capacity from 40 l/s to 150 l/s)

The car uses energy-saving LED-based technologies.

URAL-43206

Vehicles based on URAL-43206 are classified as medium-heavy vehicles. This includes tanker trucks with a 3-4 ton water tank. The chassis is distinguished by a short wheelbase on two axles, due to which the dimensions and weight of such fire engines are smaller than those of the URAL-4320, and this allows them to be used on fires in urban areas. The vehicle's cross-country ability is ensured by an all-wheel drive system with a 4x4 wheel arrangement. This model is considered to be a light SUV.

Design features include a two-module body. There is a water tank and a combined compartment for foam and pumping unit located here. The two-row cabin is designed for six, but without an additional bed, as was the case in the heavy class. Additionally, an autonomous heater is installed that runs on diesel fuel to heat the cabin and pump compartment.
