Most cars from the Kama plant are equipped with manual gearboxes with 5 steps (with or without a divider). Gear shifting is carried out by moving the gearbox rocker with the clutch pedal pressed. The usual operating modes of the KamAZ gearbox are increased “B” or decreased “H”. In cars equipped with a gearbox with a multiplier, switching from mode “B” to mode “H” is carried out by lowering a special single divider lever.

Replacing a KAMAZ air spring
