In agriculture, modern LTZ wheeled tractors, with various attachments and accessories, are used for various technological work in the cultivation of row crops, from planting to harvesting. The use of LTZ brand tractors allows us to meet technological requirements and really increase the efficiency of farming.

Description

Tractors at the Lipetsk Plant began to be produced in 1943. But the creation of the design took a year and in 1944 the first tracked tractor “Kirovets-35” was produced, which was equipped with a gasoline engine. The design was successful enough to carry out row-crop activities, and by the time the tractor was removed from production in 1960, 113,600 units of equipment had been produced.

The production of wheeled tractors began in 1957. The LTZ T-30 tractor successfully passed all tests and was put into mass production. In 1961, the most popular tractor LTZ T-40 was released, the design of which turned out to be so successful that all subsequent modifications were designed on its basis.

The plant was closed in 2004, but production was restored as part of the Lipetsk Tractor concern, which to this day produces units that not only have excellent characteristics, but also meet modern requirements.

Story

The construction of a plant called the Lyudinovsky ironworks was started in 1732 by the son of a Tula gunsmith, factory owner Nikita Nikitovich Demidov, on the basis of the Zhizdrinsky iron ore deposits. Completed in 1745. The plant specialized in smelting cast iron and manufacturing simple metal products. In 1820, the Lyudinovo ironworks, together with the surrounding villages and lands, bought seconds - Major I. A. Maltsov. His son S.I. Maltsov changes the specialization of the enterprise. Since 1820, the plant began producing transport and energy vehicles. Rail rolling production is being established. In 1841, the plant produced the first rails for the Nikolaev Railway. In 1844, the construction of the first domestic steamships began, which subsequently opened navigation along the Desna, Dnieper and Volga rivers. From the second half of the 19th century, the plant became one of the centers of domestic steam locomotive building.

In 1870, the first narrow-gauge freight steam locomotive in Russia was built at the plant. From 1871−1877 49 steam locomotives were produced, which surpassed the steam locomotives of French, Austrian and a number of other factories in dignity and received a large gold medal and a first-degree certificate at the Moscow Polytechnic Exhibition. From 1870-1881 The Lyudinovo plant produced 373 steam locomotives, 154 passenger cars, and 8,428 freight cars. In addition, the plant produced agricultural implements (straw cutters, dehumidifiers, threshers) and central heating boilers.

In 1874 -1878. The company built routiers or, in factory terminology, “steam locomotives for ordinary roads,” modeled after an English car. This was the very first automobile production in Russia.

In 1905, the plant began producing locomobiles under a German patent. From 1905-1917 The plant produced 2,558 locomobiles.

In the 1930s, the plant mass-produced locomotives and steam power plants. Fulfilling the GOELRO plan, the plant produced more than 22 thousand locomotive power plants for remote areas of the country.

In 1940, the plant produced over 600 locomobiles with a total power of 38,512 hp.

During the Great Patriotic War, the plant was evacuated to the cities of Kusa (Chelyabinsk region), Balakovo, and Syzran. As a result of the evacuation of the enterprise’s equipment in Syzran, the Syzran Locomotive Plant, now the Syzran Heavy Engineering Plant, was built on its base during the war. Already in 1944, the plant again began producing locomotives for the needs of the country's agriculture. The plant doubled its plan for the first quarter of 1945 for the production of locomotives.

Start of diesel locomotive construction

On December 7, 1957, the Council of Ministers of the RSFSR decided to organize the production of shunting diesel locomotives with a capacity of 750 hp at the Lyudinovo plant. With. with hydromechanical transmission, in connection with this specialization the plant became known as the Lyudinovsky Diesel Locomotive Plant.

In December 1958, the first diesel locomotive TGM2 was produced according to the design of the Lugansk plant. In May 1959, the first diesel locomotive TGM3, designed by the Lyudinovo Diesel Locomotive Plant, was built. At the end of 1959, a new experimental diesel locomotive with a unified hydraulic transmission TGM3A was produced. In 1965, the first 2 samples of the TGM5 diesel locomotive with a capacity of 2400 hp were manufactured. With. In 1966, the first two-section diesel locomotive TG16 with a power of 3,280 hp was produced. for Southern Sakhalin (narrow gauge), which received a small gold medal at the locomotive exhibition in Moscow. Replacing the steam locomotive fleet with diesel locomotives on South Sakhalin solved the problem of radical technical re-equipment of the island railway. The first mainline diesel locomotive TG102 was manufactured in two sections with a capacity of 4000 hp. Based on the TGM5 diesel locomotive, ensuring maximum unification, a prototype of the TG16 shunting diesel locomotive was produced for the metallurgical industry. In 1971, the first prototype of the TGM4 diesel locomotive was produced. In 1972, the TGM8 diesel locomotive with a power of 800 hp was produced. for export to France due to special metallurgical requirements. “These locomotives are so reliable that one wonders: what are the spare parts for?” wrote the Marseille newspaper “La Provincial” upon the delivery of the required number of spare parts with the diesel locomotives. In 1974, the first experimental completely new shunting and export diesel locomotive TEM7 with a power of 2000 hp was produced. with AC power transmission, for the first time in Russia in an eight-axis design. A shunting diesel locomotive TGM7 with a power of 800 hp was produced. for Sakhalin on the basis of existing diesel locomotives, taking into account a high degree of unification. Diesel locomotives TGM4, TGM4A, TGM6 were awarded the State Quality Mark. In 1975, the 5000th diesel locomotive was produced. In 1990, the plant switched to producing more modern TGM7A diesel locomotives. The 21st century was marked for the plant by the production of two prototypes of the TERA mainline freight diesel locomotive (joint production with the USA) with a power of 4000 hp.

Along with diesel locomotives, the plant produced railway track equipment. Service railcar AS4MU, rail lubrication machine RSM1, milling rotary electric snow blower FRES2, traction power unit TEU630, diesel train DL2, service diesel trains SDP1, SDP2, SDP3, SDP4, garbage trucks M 72 based on ZIL and KAMAZ.

In 2007, the Lyudinovsky Diesel Locomotive Plant became part of the Sinara - Transport Machines (STM) holding company. An investment program for the technical re-equipment of the plant was developed and began to be implemented, providing for the modernization of the existing machine park and the acquisition of new equipment; In 2008, the TEM7A diesel locomotive equipped with a microprocessor control and diagnostic system (MSKUD) and an electric stopping brake was put into serial production. The diesel locomotive is certified by the State Institution “RS FZhT” for compliance with safety and operation standards of the locomotive. In 2009, the plant received a certificate of compliance of the quality management system with the requirements of GOST R ISO 9001. The process of implementing and certifying the business management system for compliance with the international railway industry standard IRIS is underway. On the path to creating Lean production, the 5″S system is being mastered.” In September 2009, as part of the International Salon of Railway Equipment “Expo-1520”, held in Shcherbinka, Moscow Region, a presentation of the new four-axle shunting and export diesel locomotive TEM9 took place. In October 2009, the TEM9 diesel locomotive was put into serial production. The diesel locomotive is equipped with an AC-DC electrical transmission and an individual wheel drive. New diesel generator DG-880L with a power of 1200 hp. for the diesel locomotive was manufactured at the Ural Diesel Engine Plant, which is also part of the Sinara Group.

Over the 50-year period of diesel locomotive construction, the plant has created more than 20 modifications of diesel locomotives. Diesel locomotives with the LTZ brand are operated in 11 countries around the world. For services to the Fatherland, the plant was twice awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor. The plant employs 1,700 people. These are mainly highly qualified personnel workers and specialists.

LTZ model range

The wide range of models presented by the Lipetsk plant consists not only of modern tractors, but also those produced in the distant 90s. It should be noted that due to excellent maintainability and availability of spare parts, the secondary market can offer customers a wide selection of equipment in excellent condition.

It is difficult to list all the tractor models, because during the existence of the plant, many of them were produced. But the most successful ones are listed below:

LTZ 60 – The total weight is 3.8 tons, allowing you to transport cargo, cultivate large areas and perform various agricultural work. The engine power is 60 hp, fuel consumption is 9 l/h, and the maximum speed that the tractor can reach is 30 km/h. Thanks to the PTO, it can work as a loader, excavator and transport cargo.

Modifications LTZ T-50A and LTZ T-50B were tracked and intended for work in gardens, vineyards and greenhouses.

LTZ 55 - an improved modification from LTZ-50 has a motor with a power of 50 hp and consumes only 2.5 l/h of diesel fuel. Can be used as an excavator, loader, cleaner, etc.

LTZ 145 – total weight of the wheeled tractor is 4.7 tons. This was the starting modification, which was subsequently improved to perform work in narrow areas.

ULTZ-150k is one of the most popular wheeled vehicles among new products, since the design feature allows it to make a small radius when turning. Tractor weight 5.6 tons.

LTZ 155 - supports a wide range of attachments, however, like all modern models of the Lipetsk plant. It is effective in operation over large areas, as it has a long service life and an engine power of 150 hp. The tractor is also a modernized new product, as it combines a creeper, a PTO, and a three-point hitch.

Brands of cars (models), machinery, equipment, special equipment

The model section of the catalog contains brands (brands) of equipment for municipal and construction / road equipment, road construction special equipment, trucks from Russian manufacturers and domestic foreign (foreign) manufacturing plants in Russia, the CIS and imported special equipment. Each model is presented with a photo, full technical characteristics, the name of the manufacturer indicating the country and actual postal address, application features during operation, and special warranty obligations of the plant. Detailed information about each brand of equipment allows you to take a detailed approach to choosing a model of equipment and buy a car, equipment, special equipment without resellers directly from the sales department of the manufacturing plant at minimal costs at a nominal price.

Main technical characteristics

Thanks to their successful design and the ability to use various attachments, LTZ tractors can be used in various fields, such as agricultural, construction or municipal. The hydraulic system allows you to work effectively with:

  • Harrow;
  • Seeder;
  • Plow;
  • Mower;
  • Trolley;
  • Blade shovel and others.

But modern models install power steering, which makes it possible to easily control the tractor on any terrain. When turning, the rear wheels repeat the maneuver of the front wheels, which significantly reduces the turning radius. The average speed that tractors can reach is 30 km/h. Depending on the modification and its technical features, the indicator may vary. In this case, braking is carried out by all wheels simultaneously.

High ground clearance allows you to use the tractor when processing agricultural crops without breaking the bushes. A spacious fuel tank and low fuel consumption increase productivity when using the tractor.

The wide and roomy LTZ cabin with panoramic windows allows the driver to control the situation around him. The seat is adjustable, so your workspace can be customized. Modern units are equipped with a heating system, which adds comfort when working in winter. The controls are ergonomically located in the access area.

High noise insulation and vibration absorption allow the driver to work in comfort and get less tired during the working day.

Features of use

The manufacturer strongly recommends that you read the instructions, which contain a detailed description of the operation of all systems, before starting to operate the LTZ tractor. Excellent technical characteristics allow you to use the tractor for a long time between maintenance. Synthetic or semi-synthetic oil is used as engine lubricant. It must be indicated on the label that it is used for diesel engines. This takes into account seasonality of use.

Equipment, machines, equipment, special equipment

The catalog includes more than 300 types of construction, road, utility, cargo (transport), fire equipment (vehicles), special equipment, spare parts, attachments and trailers. For each brand of car, the manufacturer, country of origin of the product (product), main technical characteristics, and photos are indicated. The tabular form of presenting information allows you to easily select and buy directly at the manufacturer’s price(s) the selected brand of equipment, machine, special equipment in the manufacturer’s sales department.

Malfunctions

Modern models differ from previous ones to a greater extent in engine efficiency and improved mechanisms. But on the secondary market there is a large amount of equipment suitable for use at a favorable price. Unfortunately, there are also few spare parts and it can sometimes be difficult to find what you need. This is the main problem for owners of LTZ equipment. In their reviews, owners advise paying attention to the hydraulic system and gearbox.

The main malfunctions include:

  1. Overheating of the gearbox, which occurs due to unadjusted gear clearance or a small amount of lubricating fluid.
  2. The starter may not work due to broken contacts or low battery charge.
  3. Ineffective braking may be due to unadjusted pedal travel or due to worn brake discs or pads.
  4. There is no way to lift attachments. In this case, you need to check the oil level.

Official website of the Lipetsk Tractor Plant

Over the years of operation (from 1944 to 2004), the Lipetsk Tractor Plant produced more than one and a half million pieces of equipment, which are still popular in agriculture and public utilities. Like many large Soviet production facilities, LTZ went bankrupt by the early 2000s. Its successor was the Lipetsk Tractor enterprise, and in 2009, the Lipetsk Crawler Tractor Plant (both included in the Tractor Plants concern), which produced chassis for heavy military vehicles, was formed into a separate formation. Today, most of the workshops have been demolished or are in disrepair, while a smaller part is rented or occupied with auxiliary metal processing. And since the non-working premises are not guarded, the huge territory of the plant and the observation tower are of interest only to those who like to wander through the ruins.

Model range of equipment

The history of the Lipetsk Tractor Plant begins with the production of tracked tractors; since the 60s, wheeled vehicles have also been produced. Therefore, the entire model range is divided into two branches - tracked and wheeled tractors, among which there are both gasoline and diesel modifications.

Tracked models:

  1. KD-35, KDP-35 (the first obsolete gasoline and diesel models with 35 and 45 hp).
  2. T-38, T-40, T-50 and modifications (tracked products produced at LTZ since the late 50s, modifications include models from gardening “scales” to field cultivation and cargo transportation).

Wheel models:

  1. T-30, T-35, T-35A (outdated first LTZ models).
  2. T-40 and its modifications (universal row-crop equipment for working on light soils, also used for transport, snow removal, mowing).
  3. T-40M and its modifications (rear- and all-wheel drive models with a 50 hp D-144 engine; there are models designed for work on slopes, as well as with utility equipment).
  4. LTZ-55, LTZ-60 (-60A, -60AB, -60AB-10) (universal row-crop equipment covering the entire range of agricultural work, and is also used in construction, forestry, and landscaping).
  5. LTZ-A LEKS-1E, LTZ-A LEKS-2E (backhoe bulldozers and backhoe loaders based on LTZ-60AB-10).
  6. LTZ-155 (modern universal row-crop diesel equipment for general agricultural work; one of the latest developments of the plant).
  7. LTZ-95B, -120B (95- and, accordingly, 120-horsepower tractors of traction class 2.0).

In addition to tractors, the model range is represented by utility vehicles:

  1. PGT-360 (hydraulic front-end loader, designed for loading and cleaning the territory of warehouse premises; aggregates with all modifications LTZ-60A, -60AB).
  2. KMT-1, KMT-1-01 (municipal vehicles: the first is equipped with a brush and blade, the second with a brush and loader).
  3. SAT-400, SAT-400-01, SAT-400-02 (tractors with a welding installation, equipped with a blade or front loader, designed for welding in field conditions).

Tractors LTZ-60, LTZ-60A, LTZ-60AB, LTZ-60AB-10

Universal row-crop tractors of the LTZ-60, LTZ-60A, LTZ-60AB and LTZ-60AB-10 series are designed for cultivating row crops, plowing, sowing grain and grass, harvesting row and eared crops, performing transport and loading and unloading operations. Tractors are combined with more than 120 machines and implements, covering the entire range of agricultural work. The wide possibilities of aggregation of the LTZ-60 tractor allow it to be used not only in agricultural work, but also in construction, forestry, landscaping, and earthworks. Lipetsk Tractor Plant produces a variety of municipal equipment based on the LTZ-60.

Maintenance Features

Lipetsk tractors are considered very reliable and do not require special care. When carrying out standard maintenance activities, the following must be taken into account:

  • maintaining the proper oil level (otherwise the attachment will stop lifting);
  • tractors are not picky about the quality of lubricants, but will suffer from a lack of them;
  • periodically check the operation of the steering system, as it may “play” (limit – 250);
  • first of all, you need to pay attention to the gearbox, tighten the gear gap (owners often complain about overheating of the gearbox);
  • many parts of different models are interchangeable, which is convenient for repair and maintenance;
  • preparation for the spring-summer (lubrication work) and autumn-winter (repair, cleaning) periods.

It is important to observe the maintenance intervals. The first should occur in no more than 60 operating hours. Also, before each departure, a superficial inspection should be carried out, including attachments.

Official site

The official website of LTZ is www.ltz.ru (created taking into account the transition of the plant to the Lipetsk Tractor enterprise). There is also an older version of the site - www.oao-ltz.ru, which indicates the same legal address of the enterprise. On "ltz.ru" you can see the price list of products (mainly, these are spare parts for the T-40, LTZ-50 and LTZ-60, and not new equipment; the list of services also includes turning, welding, milling and other work on metal). The site belongs to herself, which since 2000 has been "". Contact information and information about the terms of product delivery are indicated on the website.

Representative offices

There are no representative offices or dealer centers that would sell Lipetsk equipment throughout the country. The only warehouse is based in Lipetsk at Trubny proezd, 6. The office "" is also located in Lipetsk and deals with wholesale deliveries (there is the possibility of free delivery to Moscow, as well as at the buyer's expense, both by road and by rail). The office of Lipetsk Tractor OJSC is located at the old address of the plant management in Lipetsk - st. Krasnozavodskaya, 1 - and is mainly engaged in retail trade, does not organize deliveries. Products are not produced for import; there are also no representative offices in the countries of the former CIS.

Selection of equipment

Despite the fact that LTZ does not produce new products (it is almost impossible to purchase a new tractor), the special equipment market provides a huge selection of used tractors in good condition at a reasonable price in comparison with analogues (for example, T-40 and modifications on Avito "at an average price of 400-500 thousand rubles, but there are cheaper options). The choice of LTZ tracked tractors is much smaller than that of wheeled tractors, since new models stopped being produced by the 70s. When buying LTZ products, you need to be prepared that there is no particular comfort in them. They especially complain about the grumbling and lacking soundproofing cabin. But as “workhorses,” Lipetsk tractors are ideal.

The Tractor Plant in Lipetsk is a true embodiment of the last century. Like many large productions, it did not fit into the structure of the current era. The plant is closed, the village of Traktorny, which was created around the plant, is practically uninhabited, but the equipment continues to work and is in demand. What is this – a paradox or a sign of timeless quality?

In February 1943, due to the urgent need in agriculture and at the front for tractors, the State Defense Committee gave the order to organize the production of general-purpose tractors in Lipetsk in the surviving buildings of the Stankostroy enterprise. Designers, technologists, and workers at tractor factories were recalled from the active army. NATI specialists again began to create an agricultural row-crop crawler tractor of medium power, corresponding to the modern traction class 2.0, and on June 1, 1944, the first experimental model of the Kirovets-35 tractor with a ZIS-5T carburetor engine was assembled. The name of the tractor was given in honor of the Leningrad Kirov plant, which produced tractors of this class before the war. At the end of 1944, the first production tractors were sent to state farms in the Crimea and the North Caucasus. The use of a gasoline engine at that time was a temporary and forced measure, since NATI was not yet ready for a new diesel engine. First agricultural The general purpose tractor KD-35 with a D-34-00 diesel engine from Caterpillar was manufactured in September 1944 (i.e. earlier than the serial one with a gasoline engine), it was transferred to the test squad of the chief designer's department. Factory tests continued all summer and autumn near the village of Klyuchiki, 35 km from Lipetsk. With the onset of winter, three KD-35 and one each Caterpillar D-2, Cletrac AD and LTZ-2 (based on the improved K-35 chassis with a NATI diesel engine) were sent to Kirovabad for further testing. After 1000 hours of operation, it turned out that the traction, economic and operational indicators of the KD-35 are higher than those of Caterpillar and Cletrac. The main task of the designers was to bring the chassis up to the requirements of mass production and make it more technologically advanced. In 1945, 64 Kirovets-35 tracked tractors with a gasoline engine were produced, and in July 1946, two modified tractors with a diesel engine were prepared. The KD-35 was intended to work with a three- and four-furrow plow and other trailed general-purpose machines and was accepted for mass production in 1947. The KD-35 tractor was intended for plowing small plots, as well as for working in orchards and grapevines, i.e. . where it is important to have a small in size and at the same time quite powerful machine with high traction forces. In the period 1946 - 1948. The KD-35 tractor was also produced by the Minsk Tractor Plant. Taking into account the requirements of agriculture, the Lipetsk Tractor Plant, based on the KD-35 tractor, in 1950 created the first tracked row-crop tractor in the USSR, KDP-35 (Kirovets diesel row-crop), which helped solve one of the most important problems in agriculture - the mechanization of sugar beet cultivation . However, the KDP-35 tractor had serious shortcomings, especially in the chassis, so in 1958 the Lipetsk Tractor Plant produced an improved version of the T-38 tracked row crop tractor instead of the KDP-35 tractor. At the same time, the plant was preparing to produce the T-40A tracked garden tractor, and the T-40B tracked row crop tractor for processing beet plantations. In 1960, the T-40A tractor was modernized, after which the tractor received the T-50A brand. In total, the Lipetsk plant produced 113,600 tracked tractors, and since 1957 the plant began to master the production of wheeled universal tractors. Self-propelled chassis T-27, SSh-30 and SSh-30A were created for agricultural work, on which the D-30 air-cooled diesel engine and power transmission were arranged in the rear, and equipment or an onboard platform could be placed on a double-beam frame. In 1958, the T-25 wheeled tractor was created, which, after state testing and fine-tuning, went into mass production under the T-30 brand in 1960. At the same time, the plant continued to further improve the design of wheeled tractors. On the basis of the T-30 tractor, the T-35 tractor was created, and in 1961 the T-40 wheeled tractor began to be produced and preparations began for the production of the T-42 wheeled tractor. According to the results of tests in 1970, the T-40 wheeled tractor turned out to be one of the best in terms of reliability among tractors produced by enterprises of the CMEA member countries. In 1966 - 1970 At international exhibitions and fairs in Moscow, Leipzig and Markkleeberg, the T-40A tractor was awarded gold medals. Since 1971, the plant has been mass-producing the T-40AN low-clearance all-terrain tractor. In 1973, the T-40 model range was modernized, installing, in particular, the improved D-37E diesel engine, and “M” was added to the model index: rear-wheel drive T-40M, all-wheel drive T-40AM and its low-clearance modification T-40ANM with a lower center gravity. Production of modifications T-40M-S1, T-40M-S2, T-40AM-S1, T-40AM-S2 and T-40ANM-S1 with the D-144 engine, variants with an extended wheelbase and the T-40AP all-wheel drive chassis has also begun. for loader. Production of the T-40 model range continued until 1995. The designers made an attempt to update the model range in 1978. Then a new model was introduced - the T-50AM, a kind of hybrid with the cabin and tail of the Belarus MTZ-100. In July 1980, a tractor was built based on an integrated circuit. At the time of production (April 1988), its indexing was changed several times. In accordance with the engine power, the tractor was called LTZ-100, then LTZ-150, finally LTZ-145 and only then LTZ-155. The machine turned out to be advanced for its time: a centrally located cabin with circular glazing, a quickly reversible rotary control station, allowing the machine to be used for shuttle work, an engine in the front block, a three-point hitch or working equipment mounted in the rear, and wheels of the same diameter. However, in the industry design bureau such a scheme was considered unpromising.

In the early 1990s, instead of the obsolete T-40, production began of the updated model LTZ-55 and then the all-wheel drive LTZ-60 with a traction class of 1.4 tons. Based on the LTZ-55 and LTZ-60, many modifications were developed: all-wheel drive LTZ-55A and LTZ -55A-S1, low-clearance LTZ-55N and LTZ-55AN for work on slopes up to 16°, LTZ-55AL for work on floodplain meadows, wet soils, etc. places where low pressure on the soil is required, LTZ-60AV, -60AB, -60ABL and -60ABT with water-cooled diesel engines, LTZ-60AV-10 with a low cabin for servicing old-style farms and others.
