The Agromash TG-150 tractor is a new tracked agricultural tractor of traction class 3 with a triangular chassis. For the first time, the Agromash TG-150 tractor was presented to engineering at the AgroTech Russia-2014 exhibition held in October 2014. It can perform a wide range of reclamation and agricultural work, aggregating various types of mounted and trailed equipment. These include wide-cut and combined multi-operational machines equipped with active and passive working bodies.

A crawler tractor is a powerful, efficient and fairly mobile special equipment suitable for agriculture, land reclamation, road construction, industrial and municipal sectors.

There are different opinions about who invented the crawler tractor. Some attribute the invention to the British engineer John Gitcom, who was involved in draining swamps. Others claim that the first tracked device was developed by staff captain and engineer Dmitry Zagryazhsky. The Russian was the first to patent a carriage equipped with a steam engine on tracks. Unfortunately, the device remained unclaimed. But the attempt of the American Miller to create a caterpillar tractor in 1857 was crowned with great success. The developed prototype even received an award for originality.

Prototypes of tracked mechanisms with different engine options were assembled later. However, mass production of such equipment began much later. In Russia, the first tractor of this type rolled off the factory assembly line only in 1924. Since then, the technology has been updated and improved many times.

Design Features

• Agromash TG-150 is equipped with a powerful (130 hp) gas-turbocharged engine D-442-16, produced by the Altai Motor Plant. It is equipped with a liquid (oil) cooling system and a two-valve timing belt. The engine complies with GOST R 41.96-2005 (Tier1, Euro2) for emissions of harmful substances from exhaust gases.
• The transmission is mechanical, with a five-speed gearbox and a 3-speed gearbox.

Agricultural tractors on the AGROMASH 90TG tracked chassis have been manufactured at the Volgograd Tractor Plant since 2009. The vehicle was developed on the basis of the DT-75, which has been in production for more than 50 years. Initially, the model in question was called VT-90

In many ways, these models (AGROMASH 90TG and DT-75) are similar, the differences relate to individual components. Thus, the 90TG is equipped with a more modern engine and an improved cabin with a frame structure.

Ergonomics have been improved by replacing mechanical levers and oil pipes with electric sensors. In addition, the tractor received an enlarged fiberglass hinged hood.

A second seat appeared in the cabin.

The muffler and exhaust pipe are now mounted on the A-pillars of the cab, and the fuel tank is located behind the cab (on the side of the previous model). Tank volume increased from 260 to 300 liters.

The location of the clutch hydraulic distributor and the hydraulic distributor itself has also been changed: they are located near the fuel tank, which helped prevent oil from getting into the cabin. The tractor no longer uses an air compressor.

Another innovation: removable front ballast weights are now included as standard rather than an optional extra.

The Volgograd Tractor Plant produces several modifications of the AGROMASH 90TG with bulldozer equipment. New crawler tractor of traction class 3 – AGROMASH TG-150

Engineering, which is managed by KKU Concern Tractor Plants LLC, this year completed the development of a tracked agricultural tractor of traction class 3 - AGROMASH TG-150.

The new crawler tractor under the AGROMASH brand, like its older brother of the 6th traction class AGROMASH-Ruslan, has a triangular caterpillar outline. This design of the chassis system relieves the tractor of ballast load at the front, providing the best position for the center of gravity of the machine, maintaining high traction forces, lifting capacity and uniform pressure on the soil. For the first time, AGROMASH TG-150 was presented to visitors of the AgroTek Russia-2014 exhibition, held at VDNKh in Moscow from October 8 to 11.

“The suspension of all AGROMASH TG-150 road wheels is independent torsion bar, equipped with units filled with lubricant for the entire service life of the machine,” says Mikhail Shibanov, chief designer for tracked agricultural tractors and running systems. – The tractor is equipped with a diesel engine with gas turbine supercharging from the Altai Motor Plant D-442-16, with a power of 130 hp. The machine is equipped with a separate-aggregate hydraulic system, which has two pairs of external outlets and one input for free drainage of working fluid from the units into the tractor tank, equipped with quick-release couplings for connecting an external consumer aggregated with the tractor. The AGROMASH TG-150 mechanical transmission with a five-speed gearbox and a three-stage range reducer provides increased transport speeds. The newcomer to the AGROMASH model range is aggregated with all types and types of soil-cultivating implements of domestic and foreign production, intended for tractors of the 3rd traction class.

The AGROMASH TG-150 cabin, created by the designers of MIKONT LLC, is elegant and spacious. Its prototype was the wheeled AGROMASH 85TK cabin, the production of which was mastered at the site of the cabin assembly shop of Promtractor OJSC. It is vibration- and noise-insulated, has a tilt-adjustable steering column, sprung, adjustable according to the weight and height of the operator, a seat with a back extension and armrests, a ventilation-heating system and air conditioning. The new tractor is planned to be equipped with rubber-reinforced tracks, thanks to which the iron horse will be able to cross public roads without damaging them. Another remarkable property of the tractor is that the dimensions of the AGROMASH TG-150 allow transportation on KamAZ trucks. This saves consumers from obtaining permits for transportation on a trawl.

Developed by the designers of MIKONT LLC, with the assistance of colleagues from the Volgograd Tractor Plant, the general purpose agricultural tractor AGROMASH TG-150 was released. When assembling the machine, Vladimir Kanyasev, Sergey Vasilyev and Evgeny Stepanov distinguished themselves as mechanics of the assembly shop of Promtractor OJSC.

It can be noted that the HTZ T-150 tractor is easy to use, and after modernization it reached the world level of competitiveness. Along with high quality and decent performance, the machine has a reasonable price range.
