Lifting and braking system

The loader is equipped with four forward gears. Each of them is designed for a specific speed:

  • first gear – 9 km/h;
  • second gear – 15.5 km/h;
  • third gear – 25.3 km/h;
  • fourth gear – 43.5 km/h.

There are also two gears for reverse movement:

  • first gear – 8.6 km/h;
  • second gear – 25.4 km/h.

Thus, you can move around a construction site or around the city at impressive speed. This makes it possible not to use special transport equipment to move the loader over short distances.


The platform can lift even very large loads at high speed. Time spent on hydraulic cycles:

  • rise – 5.9 seconds;
  • unloading – 1.4 seconds;
  • lowering – 4 sec.

This is one of the main reasons for the high speed of work. The duration of one hydraulic cycle is only a few seconds.

The loader in question is equipped with two brake systems:

  • parking,
  • emergency.

Both braking systems are reliable. They are a single-disc dry type mechanism with spring compression.

The brake release is carried out using a hydraulic system. The brake mechanisms are extremely simple in design, this is the main secret of their reliability.

The disc brakes themselves are powered by a mechanical drive. They are turned on by pressing a special pedal in the loader cabin.

When the brake pedal is released back, a special hydraulic mechanism is activated. Under its influence, the pads unclench and the wheels unlock. The emergency brake works in a similar way.

Operational safety

Both brake systems are duplicated , which allows you to be confident in the safety of the driver of this equipment. Even at high speed, the braking distance is no more than 10 m.

Ice and a large amount of water on the asphalt will not be a hindrance when moving, since the tractor wheel tread allows you to cling to even very slippery surfaces.


The center of gravity of the Amkodor-352 loader is located very low, so the driver is completely safe regardless of the amount of roll: even if the loader falls on its side, it will not roll over, and it will be possible to easily get out of the cab.

Some other similar models from other manufacturers have one very important drawback: when turned over, the cabin is flattened, so the likelihood of the driver’s death is extremely high.

Also, stability when overcoming terrain is achieved using a special longitudinal swing mechanism located in the bridges.

Attention! The angle of deviation relative to the horizontal can be as much as 12 degrees, so you can drive up fairly steep climbs without any fear at full load.

The cabin with which the equipment in question is equipped is very comfortable and easy to use.

It does not have metal walls, so you can have an all-round view without any difficulty. This makes it possible to move without fear not only forward, but also backward, which is very important, since the weight of the loader is very large, and it has many parts protruding beyond the body.

Inside the cabin there is an instrument panel located right next to the steering column.

With its help, you can continuously monitor all the necessary parameters:

  • oil level;
  • fuel level;
  • pressure in the hydraulic system.

The cabin is also equipped with several rear and side view mirrors. Their viewing angle allows the driver to clearly see everything that is behind the operating equipment.

This is very convenient and also safe: the likelihood of damaging anything due to careless movement tends to be minimal.

The cabin itself is quite high, and climbing into it is quite problematic.

Test results of universal loaders

Modern intensive agricultural production today is impossible without the use of loading equipment. Loaders in agriculture are used for mechanized loading and unloading operations with bulk, lump, long, bulk, viscous materials, performing earthmoving, transport and installation work, cleaning roadways, compacting haylage and silage.

JSC Amkodor (Minsk, Republic of Belarus) specializes in the production of self-propelled universal loaders. The release of a wide range of universal loaders, differing in their functionality and cost, allows you to choose the right model that can be effectively used in a particular agricultural enterprise.

All universal self-propelled loaders are equipped with quick-release working parts that perform various agricultural operations: loading mineral, organic fertilizers and peat with main buckets, rolls of hay with forks with clamps and roll grippers, silage with buckets with clamps, stacking rolls of hay and straw with balers.

Universal loaders are equipped with comfortable cabins that provide full visibility of the working parts when performing the technological process: loading and unloading zones of the technological process, a linkage system for attaching replaceable working parts to the loader.

Operator workplaces are equipped with adjustable sprung seats and steering columns with tilt angles of 10-30 degrees. All loaders widely use hydraulics to drive replaceable working parts. Despite the same functional purposes, Amkodor universal loaders have different design features.

The Amkodor 211 skid steer loader is small-sized, which allows it to be used in cramped conditions that require great mobility. Control of movement (starting from a standstill, changing speed and direction of movement, turns in motion and turns on the spot, stopping) and working equipment is hydraulic and is carried out by means of two manual control units mounted in the cab on consoles located on both sides of the operator’s seat and the unit control of the active working body.

As a result of testing the Amkodor 211 skid steer loader, the main time productivity and specific fuel consumption per hour of shift time were: for loading peat with the main bucket 23.65 t/h with specific fuel consumption 0.17 kg/t; for loading chopped green mass 19.97 t/h, with a specific fuel consumption of 0.16 kg/t; for laying hay rolls 24.3 t/h, with a specific fuel consumption of 0.16 kg/t.

Self-propelled universal loaders “Amkodor 320”, “Amkodor 332S-4”, “Amkodor 342S-4”, “Amkodor 352” have a similar frame arrangement, consisting of two semi-frames, front and rear, connected by two hinges with a common vertical axis. The front axle is rigidly fixed on the front half-frames and loading equipment with an adapter is installed on which quick-release working parts are hung.

The loading equipment is controlled by double-acting hydraulic cylinders using a hydraulic distributor. The rear semi-frames contain a cabin with controls, an engine with a power take-off gearbox, a rear drive axle, a driveshaft, hydraulic and fuel tanks.

The humidification function, which is available on the rotary and road brushes, helps to wet the dusty load so that it does not become sprayed into the air and quickly collects in one pile.
  • Clamp/grab forks are attachments that work primarily with fibrous materials. This option is suitable for working with objects with a density of up to 800 kg per 1 cubic meter. m. The excellent characteristics of Amkodor 352 are due to the coordinated operation of all systems. The power plant interacts with a hydromechanical gearbox designed for six speeds (four forward and two reverse). The reverse motion is activated with maximum convenience, which guarantees efficiency and productivity. Thanks to the hydromechanical gearbox, it became possible to change gears from front to rear without completely stopping the car. The Amkodor 352 brake system includes two components: parking and emergency. They are characterized by high reliability and ease of management. These are single-disc dry-type units with spring compression. Doublers are installed on the systems, which guarantees additional safety. Regardless of the speed, the braking distance does not exceed 10 m.

All-wheel drive makes cornering effortless. The main structure of the machine is an articulated frame. The basic assembly includes hydraulic feedback and an emergency pump for the front axle. With their help, it is possible to continue performing work operations in conditions of failure of the main equipment.

The Amkodor 352 is controlled using a gearbox, which allows the loader to move forward at speeds of up to 9 km/h in 1st gear, up to 15.5 km/h in 2nd gear, up to 25.3 km/h in 3rd gear and up to 43.5 km/h in 4th gear, as well as up to 8.6 km/h in 1st gear and up to 25.4 km/h in 2nd gear reverse.

Initially, Amkodor 352 was positioned as a loader intended for agriculture. However, it later turned out that the range of works in which it is applicable is much wider. With the equipment you can use most of the attachments produced by the Belarusian brand. This allows you to use it at any time to perform a variety of tasks. Today the loader is used in the construction industry, when creating roads and in mining.

Amkodor 352 is significantly superior to classic models in maneuverability and stability, therefore it is optimally suited for compacting silage mass. At the same time, the loader has significant efficiency and safety.

A number of parameters distinguish the Amkodor 352 from loaders of other brands. Among them:

  • a combination of a powerful engine and hydromechanical transmission, providing the vehicle with a smooth ride and high cross-country ability;
  • optimal ratio of geometric parameters, weight and power of the loader, guaranteeing safety when performing a variety of work and excellent performance;

Handling and cross-country ability

Operating the equipment in question is very simple; the main control is the steering wheel.

It has a fairly large diameter, which allows you to maneuver the loader with a minimum number of movements.

The design of the drive wheels, with the help of which turns are performed, is an articulated frame.

There is also hydraulic feedback and an emergency pump from the front wheels. It allows you to maneuver this equipment without much difficulty, even if the main pumps are out of order for some reason.

The loader's maneuverability is very high, even despite its impressive weight. This is possible thanks to the limited slip differential, as well as the wheels equipped with tires with a very deep and aggressive tread.

It can cling to very unstable ground without much difficulty.

Equipment

When developing the Amkodor 352 series machines, the company's engineers paid great attention to driver safety. The cabin was equipped with high-strength stops and stiffening ribs, which effectively protect the driver in the event of a possible rollover of the equipment. Two joysticks were added to the driver’s workstations, which are responsible for precise positioning of the boom during operation and their quick replacement if necessary. Depending on the configuration of the machine, the Amkodor 352C can be equipped with:

  • buckets with increased volume - 3, 4.2 and 5 m3;
  • pressing buckets for agricultural work with a capacity of 2.9 and 4.2 m3;
  • bulldozer blades;
  • devices for applying fertilizers;
  • cutters;
  • phyla with different configurations;

Amkodor 352C-02 is additionally equipped with the following devices:

  • autonomous device for heating the engine;
  • tire inflation system;
  • radiator blower system;
  • additional lighting devices for comfortable work at night.

Modifications

In addition to the basic modification, the Amkodor-Z52 line of single-bucket front loaders includes modifications with increased operating weight - “Z52S”; for tropical climates - “Z52-11”; for agriculture - “Z52S-02”; for forestry - “Z52L”.

Option for a tropical climate - “Amkodor-Z52” is equipped with air conditioning and a German-made Deutz BF06M2012C diesel engine; efficient cooling system with a Bondioli radiator block made in Italy and a hydraulic fan drive; air suction system with dry and oil-inertial filters “Mann-Hummel” - for working in dusty conditions; working equipment with fingers increased in diameter.

The Amkodor-Z52S-02 universal loader was specially adapted for use in agriculture. It is intended for transporting and compacting plant feed when storing haylage and silage in silos, etc. trench-type storage facilities, as well as for various auxiliary works in rural areas. “Amkodor-Z52S-02” is equipped with special wide-profile tires, a pneumatic system for inflating tires and purging the radiator, and additional protection of radiators and the engine from dust and small plant fractions. This modification is also equipped with more powerful lighting equipment.

All versions of the 352 series Amkodor loader are manufactured on a single two-axle chassis with a wheelbase of 3.13 meters. The rear overhang in all modifications is 2.095 m, the total overall length ranges from 7.75 m to 9.05 m - depending on the type of installed bucket or other attachments. The width of the wheels is 2.45 m, with the exception of the agricultural modification “352C-02”: it is equipped with wheels with an increased profile width, and because of this the overall width reaches 2.8 m. The height of the loader in the cabin is the same for all modifications - 3 .55 m.

Ground clearance in the basic version is 350 mm; in the “352S” and “352L” modifications it is 400 mm, and in the “Z52L” log loader it is 430 mm.
