For the MTZ gearbox and rear driveshaft, domestic and imported oils recommended by the manufacturer are used:
- M-10G2 GOST 8581-78 (summer version);
- M-8G2 GOST 8581-78 (winter);
- SAE 15W-40.
It is allowed to use oil poured into the engine crankcase. When operating the MTZ-1025 tractor, pay attention to extraneous knocks in the transmission. Check the oil level and pressure in the system.
An oil change is combined with seasonal maintenance if no more than 200 hours of MTZ operation remain before maintenance. Drain the liquid yourself or at a service station.
