The school modification PAZ-32053-70 fully complies with GOST R 51160-98 “Buses for transporting children. Technical requirements".

The bus has 22 or 23 seats, including seats for accompanying adults. In the cabin, each row of seats has emergency communication buttons with the driver , and the driver's workplace is equipped with external and internal loudspeaker installations . All seats are equipped with special seat belts; in addition, the bus has luggage racks for backpacks.

An additional step at the front door will help even the smallest passengers climb onto the bus. Special devices prevent movement when the doors are open and limit the speed to 60 km/h. All buses for transporting children are equipped with electrically heated rear-view mirrors and a sound signal when reversing.

The buses are equipped with a digital tachograph with a CIPF unit and a Granit-Navigator 2.07 user terminal.

Design

Despite the visual similarity with the Volkswagen Tiguan stated above, the new crossover PAZ-32053 2021-2022 has a unique design. The car stands out for its clearly defined lines that unite the front and rear of the body, making it seamless. This effect, in particular, is ensured by a wide fold that runs from the lower edge of the hood under the side windows and all the way to the stern.

But, as in the case of the VW Tiguan, the Russian new product lacks the pronounced stampings characteristic of many modern crossovers. In fact, the presented model from PAZ exactly corresponds to the design language of cars of the German brand, which was “diluted” with a number of non-standard solutions for Volkswagen. So, from the mentioned Tiguan, the new product has been replaced by a roof that slopes slightly toward the stern, which slightly reduces the amount of free space above the heads of second-row passengers. The front support pillars are laid at approximately the same angle as the German model. But the Russian new product has wider wheel arches and is complemented by a larger plastic body kit, which also runs along the bottom of the side doors.

Apparently, the same embossed hood with minor folds was transferred from the Tiguan to the PAZ crossover. But in the Russian model it has more pronounced lateral indentations, making it visually taller. The head optics of the presented new product also look as if they were borrowed from Volkswagen. But in reality this impression arises only from the similarity in the shape of the front lights. The PAZ-32053 2021-2022 crossover has a curving LED strip running through them, which stretches along the perimeter with the head of the optics and intersects the decorative strip located on top of the radiator grille. In the middle between this strip, the developer placed 3 round LED lights of compact size.

The radiator grille of the presented new product is the only thing that emphasizes the connection of the model with the products of the PAZ brand. It is made in the form of thin metal strips, which are laid both vertically and horizontally, thus forming a fine mesh.

The developer included wide side cutouts in the front bumper, characteristic of many modern crossovers. They have 3 LED strips built into them, laid horizontally and partially covering the ventilation holes. In the center there is a niche for an air intake with a fine mesh, under which additional protection is secured.

At the rear, the Russian new product is also in many ways similar to modern crossovers. The wide rear glazing, above which there is a developed wing, is designed in the same style. But the PAZ crossover has a characteristic protrusion under the rear window, which is a natural continuation of the large side folds. It has built-in aft optics, which are large in size and complemented by several LED strips. The rear bumper is designed quite simply, with the exception of one feature: there are cutouts on its sides that imitate compact diffusers.

Brake linings make it easy to control in all conditions.

In the case of transporting children, models are equipped with spare emergency doors. 5 heating devices are responsible for heating the interior in winter. The height of the driver's seat is adjustable.

Design features of the bus

The remaining details of the design are easy to recognize. In 2007, the design of the model was changed once. 27 centimeters is the height typical for ground clearance. Thanks to this, you can use the car in different weather conditions, even if the quality of the road surface leaves much to be desired. Bus PAZ 4234

The capacity of the bus was increased due to an increase in body dimensions. The total number of seats is now 30. The maximum passenger capacity is 50 people. Modernization in 2007 contributed to increased comfort for those inside. This also applies to the PAZ-4234-04 version.

In this routine, a bright spot was the appearance in 2003 of an extended modification of the PAZ-4234 for operation on urban and suburban routes.

Well, at present, the “3205” family is not only not going to “retire”, but is also growing with new configurations. New engines are being adopted in the engine compartment, the appearance is changing, and unique versions are appearing, designed for specific customers abroad.

However, there is no need for words when you can look at the dry statistics of buses produced. It is logical that the production of the model, which celebrated its 25th anniversary, is declining, giving way to the more modern Vector family. But the most complete pessimist would probably not risk saying that the production of PAZ-3205 is being curtailed...
