The hydraulic drive ensures ease and simplicity of crane control, smooth operation of mechanisms, a wide range of operating speeds, and combination of crane operations. Work on close supports is allowed.
Safe operation of the crane is ensured by a complex of instruments and devices, including the ONK-160 microprocessor-based load limiter with digital information display, which:
- allows you to monitor the degree of loading of the crane, the length and reach of the boom, the lifting height of the boom head;
- shows the actual load on the hook and the maximum load capacity at a given reach;
- automatically limits the crane's coverage area when working in cramped conditions or near a power line at predetermined coordinates;
- records operating parameters, as well as the degree of load of the crane during its entire service life.
The main advantages of the KS-45717A-1 IVANOVETS truck crane:
The drive of the crane installation of the truck crane is hydraulic from a pump driven by the chassis engine. Crane hydraulic system
provides smooth control of all mechanisms with a wide range of speed control of working operations, providing the ability to combine several crane operations.
It is allowed to operate the truck crane on closely spaced supports. A three-section telescopic boom
with a length of 9-21 m provides the truck crane with compactness and maneuverability when moving, a wide working area and a large height of cargo movement during operation.
The sections are extended using a hydraulic cylinder and pulleys. To increase the service area and the size of the under-jib space, the KS-45717A-1 IVANOVETS truck crane can be equipped with a lattice jib
7 meters long, which is driven from the transport position to the working position and back again manually, without the use of additional lifting equipment. A set of instruments and devices ensure safe operation of the KS-45717A-1 IVANOVETS truck crane: microprocessor load limiter (ONK-140) with digital indication of operating parameters on the display in the driver’s cabin. The device automatically protects the truck crane from overload and capsizing, is equipped with a protection system necessary for working in cramped conditions, has a built-in telemetric memory unit (“black box”) and a module for protecting the truck crane from hazardous voltage (MZON) for working near power lines.

1 DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION OF THE CRANE
1.1 Purpose of the truck crane KS-45717A-1
The KS-45717A-1 truck crane is a full-rotation crane with a hydraulic drive, with a rigid suspension of a telescopic boom on the chassis of a MAZ vehicle, designed for mechanization of loading and unloading and installation and construction work with ordinary cargo, as well as toxic and explosive substances at dispersed objects.
The movement of the crane between work sites is provided on all types of roads.
Operation of the crane is allowed in areas with a temperate climate in the temperature range from minus 40 °C to plus 40 °C. For the tap to be inoperative, the minimum temperature should not be below minus 50 °C.
Acceptable when operating the crane:
— wind speed at a height of 10 m:
— for working position no more than 14 m/s;
— for transport position no more than 40 m/s;
— the slope of the working platform is no more than 5% (3°);
— the angle of inclination of the crane to the horizon when working on outriggers, no more than 1.5°.
Storing the crane is allowed in an open area at an air temperature not
below minus 50 °C. At lower temperatures, it is recommended to place the tap in a closed room with an air temperature of at least minus 50 °C.
