Modifications

The list of modifications includes three variants of the loader: Amkodor 320 – with the Belarusian diesel engine MMZ D-245; Amkodor 320E - with a more environmentally friendly German diesel engine Deutz TD 2012 L04 2Vm, oriented for operation in urban areas; Amkodor 320SE - with a Deutz engine and a more modern cabin design (it has smooth rounded contours).


Amkodor 320 SE

Design Features

The basis of the Amkodor 320 model loaders is an articulated frame of a classic layout. In all versions, the cabin receives panoramic glazing and a wide door on the left side.

Amkodor 320 loaders are equipped with a hydraulic displacement transmission with software based on Danish adjustable hydraulic machines. The beam frames of the cabins comply with current safety requirements (protection against rollovers / against falling heavy objects: FOPS / ROPS). The use of a special “Sadef” profile made it possible to significantly reduce the number of welds.

A special mechanical device makes it easy to change working parts within minutes. The operator only needs to leave the cab to install the locking pins and connect the quick-release hydraulic couplings. In its basic version, the Amkodor 320 loader is equipped only with a bucket. Other quick-change parts must, if necessary, be ordered and purchased additionally. The manufacturer provides the possibility of aggregating this special equipment with various replaceable working equipment - load forks; roll grippers; forks with grip; rotating crane booms; grain ladles, etc.

In cramped conditions, these special vehicles feel confident because they have excellent maneuverability. They perform simple loading operations quite quickly and with very moderate fuel costs.

Loader engines Amkodor 320

The Amkodor 320 loader is equipped with a D-245.43S2 diesel engine produced by the Minsk Motor Plant. This is a four-cylinder engine with a displacement of 4.75 liters, equipped with turbocharging, intercooling of charge air and a direct diesel fuel injection system. The rated power of the D-245.43S2 is 62 kW (84 horsepower) at 1800 rpm.

On the Amkodor 320E and Amkodor 320SE modifications, the Belarusian manufacturer uses the German Deutz TD 2012 L04 2Vm diesel engine. This option, of environmental class Stage IIIA, is intended for use in the public utilities of large cities, where increased demands are placed on the environmental friendliness of special equipment.


Deutz TD 2012 L04 2Vm

Diesel fuel consumption by both versions of the loader engine is approximately the same, and depends on the type of operation of the loader. During the movement and loading of soil, about 5.5 liters of diesel fuel per hour are burned; during soil leveling - approximately 7 liters per hour; transport mode, at higher speeds, requires approximately 8 liters per hour. The fuel tank capacity of this loader is 170 liters of diesel fuel.

Transmission Amkodor 320

The Amkodor 320 special vehicles use a closed-loop hydraulic displacement transmission (Denmark) with electronic control, regulated pump and hydraulic motor. The type of hydraulic system for loading equipment and steering is two-pump, with one pump for loading equipment and a separate steering pump. The hydraulic valve type is three-section (4-section on the Amkodor 320CE version), with direct mechanical control.

The drive axles are also installed from well-known European ones or “Dana” (Italy) - with self-locking limited slip differentials and multi-disc wet brakes. This ensures continuously variable gear changes and changes in speed, good ride comfort and high cross-country ability. In operating mode, the machine is braked due to the hydraulic volume transmission circuit.

The machines are equipped with an electronically controlled hydrostatic transmission from Sauer-Danfoss (Denmark), drive axles from Carraro (Italy) or Dana (Italy) with self-locking limited slip differentials and multi-disc brakes in “oil”, which ensures stepless change in speed and smooth operation and high maneuverability, and in combination with an articulated frame with a folding angle of ±40° and a spacious cab with good visibility, this ensures efficient work in cramped conditions.

A mechanical device for quickly changing working parts allows them to be replaced within 2-3 minutes. The operator only needs to exit the cab to install the locking pins and connect several quick-release hydraulic couplings.

In the basic version, the loaders are equipped with a bucket; all other quick-change working parts are ordered additionally. At the request of the customer, it is possible to adapt the working bodies of specialized manufacturers. The quick-change device is unified in size with the AMKODOR 527 universal telescopic loader.

The brake system is activated only in emergency situations and transport mode. This significantly increases the service life of the drive axles. Hydraulic steering drives the articulated frame.

Amkodor 320 is distinguished by increased cross-country ability, which is achieved through the use of drive axles with self-locking differentials made in Italy (Carraro). again, decent ground clearance and wide-profile tires contribute to this.


When developing the loader, special attention was paid to the operator's cabin. Unlike previous models of this brand, it has a more modern design. Owners and operators of Amkodor 320 loaders note that in terms of quality and ease of operation, this equipment is in no way inferior to Chinese and even European analogues. The build quality is at a high level, reliability and durability in operation too. The cabin may not be as comfortable as that of the “Europeans”, but it is of decent and good quality. All controls are in their optimal places - you quickly get used to their location. Visibility is ideal, “like in an aquarium.” In some cases, complaints arise from the “original” loader seat: some find it uncomfortable and require replacement with a more comfortable one.

The hydraulics are of high quality - they work properly, don’t leak anywhere, and don’t cause any trouble. In general, everyone characterizes the Amkodor 320 as a good, reliable, not too expensive, very maneuverable and convenient loader.

Just when we thought that the Avtopanorama test pilots rode almost all types of transport, and also flew and sailed, Labor Day gave us something else that our experts had not yet tested. The most hard worker is the Amkodor 320 universal loader.

The 320 looks quite modern, no worse than its imported counterparts. Although for such technology, what is more important is not so much the appearance as the functionality, which is what we began to study. The cabin is quite comfortable and spacious, with frameless glass all around, which gives better 360-degree visibility. The controls are naturally at hand. True, compared to a regular car, some buttons and levers are located in not entirely predictable places. But this is not all that distinguishes the loader from the cars we are used to.


But we are no strangers, so we immediately rushed into battle with tons of sand to see if we could cope with such equipment. After a brief briefing from one of the best specialists, our experienced leader quickly began to operate the ladle quite quickly. And I must say that he did quite well, at least for a person who was driving such a vehicle for the first time.


After looking at this sandy chaos and thinking a little, our editor also got involved in this adventure. True, when she sat behind the wheel of a forklift, she behaved not like an editor of an automobile program, but like a typical blonde.


Frankly speaking, at first we thought it was a pipe... After all, the weaker sex can not only stop a galloping horse, but also easily immobilize the steel monster with exclamations of “oh, I think I broke something.” But everything worked out.


Of course, not without the help of professionals, Katya managed to unload the sand better and better over and over again.


In general, we are convinced that the 320 copes with its direct responsibilities perfectly. But it’s not for nothing that this loader is called universal, so maybe it has something else...


Our instructor got behind the wheel and said: “The main thing is to hold on tight!” And away we go... Up and down, up and down, and then the same thing, only in motion. Aahs and aahs poured out of us like from a cornucopia. But when the loader began to climb the mountain of sand, our breath was completely taken away. It only seems from the ground, like, what’s wrong with this, just think, they raised it several meters. And when you stand in the bucket and look down, and even in motion, then these few meters do not seem so trivial and even tickle your nerves. And it’s certainly cooler than some modern attractions.
