    This loader is produced by the domestic manufacturer Uralvagonzavod, which is currently one of the leaders in the domestic market of small-sized special equipment. 90 percent of all products that are currently produced are occupied by the PUM-500 loader. This is explained by the fact that this machine is the most relevant among similar imported models, since it includes the same qualities, but the cost is slightly lower.

    PUM-500 is most popular in organizations that are located in areas with moderate climatic factors. The machine is not demanding on temperature indicators and is capable of performing the necessary types of work with maximum efficiency even in frosts of minus 30 degrees and heat of plus 40 degrees. Currently, equipment is often replaced with a UD-2 power unit. This is explained by the fact that every year it is becoming more and more difficult to find spare parts for the original engine, since along with the cessation of mass production, the plant also stopped producing parts.

    In general, this model has potential, even quite a lot, but the manufacturer was never able to realize all the possibilities due to the difficult economic situation.

The standard magneto is perhaps the only element of the power plant that is not made of the best quality. However, these problems were often solved by completely replacing elements from other models. If the mini-tractor is in good technical condition and with some modifications, then it can last for a very long time.

    Repair features

    In terms of repairs and all maintenance, the AMZHK-8 mini-tractor turned out to be a pretty successful model. As described earlier, many tractor parts can be replaced with parts from other models of mini tractors. But it should be emphasized that not every element was suitable. They were selected taking into account the traction class of the equipment, power indicators, as well as the purpose of the model. Of course, this was not always done, since at the beginning and in the middle of mass production the plant supplied a sufficient number of components, which, by the way, had a fairly affordable price at that time. Due to the stoppage of production, all spare parts were almost completely gone from the markets, but it was still possible to find something, although it was very problematic. The most popular way to improve equipment, both in terms of performance and in terms of maintenance, was considered to be the complete replacement of the standard engine with a UD-2 unit, which was installed on some walk-behind tractors. In some respects, this unit surpasses even a standard engine, and spare parts can still be found without any difficulty.
