Tent trailers are a type of semi-trailer equipment for transporting construction, industrial and large-sized indivisible cargo that is neutral to the effects of temperature conditions. Having a covered top, this type of equipment effectively protects the transported cargo from precipitation, dust and dirt. For ease of loading and unloading, the U-shaped awning covering the roof and sides can be completely retracted, thus providing access to loading through the side walls.

Design

The basis of the tent semi-trailer design is a steel frame, on which, as a rule, an onboard platform is installed. This is followed by a frame superstructure and an awning made of durable synthetic material, where special fastenings are used to securely fix it to the sides.

The frame of the awning consists of height-adjustable posts and round bars. The side and rear folding sides are made of aluminum profiled sheets. The roof can be movable soft or non-removable hard. For greater functionality, curtainsider semi-trailers are equipped with rear doors and a removable frame.

Depending on the specifics of the activity and the tasks facing the Customer, a tent semi-trailer may differ in overall dimensions, assembly technology, quality of materials, load capacity and number of axles (from 3 to 25 tons and above, one-, two-, three-axle and above) .
