The Mazda Titan truck has not only several modifications, but also a rather rich history, dating back six generations.
The first generation was first presented to the general public in 1971. Then this car served as a replacement for the outdated E2000. Unlike the latter, the new car received a completely new design and an updated appearance. However, the power unit with a displacement of 2.5 liters was completely inherited from the E2000. But this option became the basic one when for other modifications with a large load capacity, engines with a displacement of 2.7 and 3.7 liters were used. The maximum power of the first engines was 80 horsepower. The second option had a maximum output power of 100 horsepower. Minor changes affected the first generation of the truck in 1977. A distinctive feature of the car this year was the new radiator grille. In 1980, production of the second generation began. This generation inherited a number of improvements carried out for the second generation in 1977. The range of installed power plants has been replenished with a new six-cylinder diesel brand ZB.
The debut of the third generation took place in 1988. The updated model was equipped with a new cargo platform. The special recesses in the side windows were slightly increased in size, which made it possible to achieve increased visibility from the driver’s workplace. This solution turned out to be very successful and as a result it began to be used on subsequent generations of this truck.
The third generation of the Mazda Titan was also produced in several modifications. But among them, for the first time, models appeared with a double cabin on board, which can accommodate up to seven people. In addition, several wheelbase options were offered to consumers, including Standard, Long and Super Long.
In 1994, emission standards were tightened and, in connection with this, the manufacturer began installing new power units of the 4HF1 and 4HG1 brand, provided by Isuzu, on cars. The next improvements affected the model in 1997. Then the car began to be equipped with a modified windshield and radiator grille. If previously the cabin was equipped with double square headlights, now they have been replaced by single ones.
Serial production of the fourth generation continued from 2000 to 2010. Unlike its predecessor, the new model has an updated interior with improved ergonomics, as well as airbags included in every package offered to consumers.

Among the main disadvantages of this model, owners note the following:
- Inefficient heating system and poor thermal insulation. During winter operation, the cabin is cold because of this;

Mazda Titan is a very affordable truck. When compared with similar trucks that have almost the same characteristics, the Japanese model often has a lower cost, both in used and new condition.
The cost of a new truck currently starts at 800 thousand rubles. Depending on the configuration, year of manufacture, equipment, as well as the type of installed cabin and superstructure, the price may increase. It is worth noting that the price tag of a model is largely influenced by its maximum load capacity.
There are a ton of different options on the secondary market. For example, for a truck manufactured in 2006, owners often set a price tag of 200 thousand rubles. Older models will cost even less.
