History of creation

The Volzhanin-5270 bus is an in-house development of the enterprise of the same name, located in the Volgograd region. The plant first announced itself in 1993, however, then it could not be called production in the full sense of the word. Rather, we were talking about an assembly line, where only assembly was carried out from components supplied by the Likinsky Automobile Plant. After some time, Volzhanin launched its own production, and became the first plant in Russia to produce buses with an aluminum body and a low floor. In addition, the equipment began to be equipped with modern electronic control systems. Among the released models, the Volzhanin-5270 is considered the most successful, which we will now get acquainted with.

    The Volzhanin-5270 body is of a closed type, with a longitudinal placement of the power plant. In general terms, we are talking about an unpretentious and reliable bus with a multi-purpose field of application. The body is made in a carriage version from low-alloy steel with anti-corrosion coating, the facing panels are made of galvanized metal. The frame is made in a single-story version and is of the all-metal type. The glazing is panoramic, the windshield has a multi-layer structure. The outer casing has an anti-corrosion coating, which makes it resistant to the action of chemical reagents that are sprinkled on the roads in winter.

    Volzhanin-5270 is a large-class urban bus, designed for multi-purpose use on regular urban social routes, as well as for transporting employees of large enterprises over short distances.

    The bus combines a spacious, comfortable interior, optimal operating costs and ease of maintenance.

    The bus frame is made of low-alloy high-strength ship steel 09G2S with increased corrosion resistance and facing panels made of galvanized steel.

    Produced from 2022. There are suburban and urban versions (they differ in the interior layout and the middle door). It differs from 5270.00 in length (10 m versus 12 m - shortened) and the absence of a rear door. 281 buses were produced. Operated in the Moscow, Kemerovo and Kursk regions, also operated in the Pskov region from September 2022 to June 1, 2022 by a subcontractor registered in the Moscow region[12]

    Produced from 2022. It differs from 5270.G0 and 5270.G2 in length (10 m versus 12 m - shortened) and the absence of a rear door. 253 buses were produced.
