GAZ 32213 is known not only in Russia, but also abroad. We are talking about a type of Gazelle car, the production of which was launched more than two decades ago. "Gazelle" appeared on city streets in 1997, the population could test this car, which was owned by carriers.
For 5 years, until 2002, GAZ-32213 was actively purchased. Another model of the same Gorky Automobile Plant, the GAZ-2705, was not far behind it in terms of sales. Both vans were further re-equipped and slightly improved at various assembly plants.
However, most successful modifications related to external factors. After all, one could often stumble upon a car whose modernization violated many passenger transportation standards. In 2003, enterprises began to purchase certified models directly from the Gorky plant.
But the displacement of old models of cars, unfortunately, lasted a long time.
Peak of the model's popularity
Gazelle was in greatest demand among carriers during 2005-2006. At that time, GAZ 322132 was the main unit of public transport in many large settlements. At the same time, a sharp reduction in the number of spacious rolling stock and an increase in the number of small minibus taxis led to congestion on roads and crowds of people at intermediate stops. The relatively small dimensions of the body did not allow for a sufficient number of passengers.
At the beginning of the 21st century, Gazelles began to transport passengers in other populated areas. They can still be found on the streets of small towns. Brake system
The Gorky Automobile Plant equipped this car with a dual-circuit braking system with a hydraulic drive and a vacuum booster. After the changes were made in 2003, the model began to be equipped with imported elements of the brake system produced by Bosch, which only increased the reliability and efficiency of the brakes.
The front wheels are equipped with disc brakes, while the rear wheels are traditionally equipped with drum brakes.

From a technical point of view, the car has not changed. The only changes affected the body, and it is difficult to verify how true this is. All changes are hidden under a layer of paint. The factory claims that all body panels are now galvanized on both sides. Moreover, even the rear door hinges were galvanized. Also, the thickness of the primer layer has increased several times and drainage holes have finally been provided to drain condensate from the cavities.
The engines are still the same, fuel consumption is 16.9 liters per hundred in road mode, but this is hardly true. Gas consumption, if HBO is installed, is about 22 liters, depending on the quality of the gas and equipment settings.
