Despite its modest power indicators, the Scout T-12 minitractor has quite excellent traction characteristics, which allows it to tow a trailer or tractor trolley designed for a load capacity of up to 1000 kilograms. Running in the mini tractor Scout T-12

Run-in is necessary on all newly purchased mini tractors, as well as if the tractor has not been used for a long time. Running in does not require much time, but the benefits from it are significant - during the process, all parts are run in and lubricated. Below is an approximate plan for running in the Scout T12 mini tractor:

Start the engine and leave it running at medium and low speeds. After a while, increase the speed. However, you cannot leave the engine running at high speeds.
While the engine is running, inspect for possible fluid, oil, or air leaks. Check if sensors and devices are working.
Perform throttle application at maximum speed for 5 minutes. Running in is considered complete after 20-30 minutes
Possible vibrations and noise will disappear after completing all procedures and manipulations, as well as after changing the oil.

I have two tractors at my disposal, Xingtai and Scout. The Scout T-12 model is in no way inferior to the first, both in terms of economy and efficiency. And in some cases it even surpasses it. Over the entire period, the tractor was repaired about 4 times, but mostly there were minor faults. In general, the equipment works quite well, both in the field and in the garden.
After moving to the village, I began to think about buying small equipment. Initially I planned to buy a walk-behind tractor, but after thinking it over, I decided to look at mini tractors. Particular attention was drawn to the Scout T-12, which was sold only by the first owner. After examining the model, I still bought it and don’t regret it at all. The tractor was received in very good technical condition and has not seriously failed over the long period of operation. The only problem was the belt tensioner, which for some reason sometimes relaxes the tension. When tested, this mechanism has quite sufficient resistance, but in operation it still fails a little. In the future I’m thinking of replacing it with a new one, unless, of course, I can’t fix it. And so, the Scout T-12 is very good.
