Features of the device and operation

KS-55732 entered production in 2012. The machine is equipped with a telescopic 28-meter boom, which provides enormous capabilities when moving cargo over long distances. This model is improved in all respects compared to its predecessor, which had a boom height of 21.7 meters. It was possible to increase the length very simply by adding an additional section. In terms of design, the model is similar to KS-45721. In addition, the “calling card” is the bright white color, familiar from the Chelyabinets family of truck cranes of recent generations.

The powerful 300-horsepower engine of the truck crane is capable of pulling large and heavy loads, regardless of the location of the crane - on a mountain, off-road or in muddy mud. The truck crane cabin is equipped with an autonomous heater, pre-heater, heated mirrors, and a multifunctional steering wheel with reach and lift height adjustment. In addition, the driver's seat itself is mounted on an air spring. According to modern technical norms and standards, the cabin is equipped with two seats, between which there is a lot of free space. A sleeping place is available as an option.

KS-55732 is equipped with permanent all-wheel drive with inter-axle and inter-wheel locks in the rear wheels. Maximum fuel consumption is 50 l/100 km at speeds of 60 km/h. In crane operating mode, the power unit consumes only 10 liters per hour. Despite acceptable fuel efficiency, the car received a fuel tank with a volume of 210 liters, which significantly affected the increase in driving range.

The chassis is equipped with a heated fuel intake, a fuel filtration system, and the “pomatronic 4D-24” device is responsible for pre-heating the engine.

The four-section boom, 28 meters long, is made of high-strength alloy with a bent profile, and also has a welded seam along the side of the boom. Due to this arrangement, it was possible to reduce the weight of the boom and the total weight of the truck crane, and thereby increase maneuverability and efficiency. Each boom section can extend simultaneously with the others, under the influence of a powerful hydraulic cylinder. In this case, the extension occurs to the desired length. The working pressure of the hydraulic cylinder is 25 MPa.

Please note that the productivity of the boom during telescoping can reach 6 tons. In addition, it is possible to work in a 360-degree zone due to the crane’s outstanding long-range lifting characteristics.

The KS-55732 truck crane installation uses a ball bearing and slewing device. It has externally geared teeth, 40 mounting holes, and four oil channels that are responsible for the effective lubrication of rollers and raceways.

The high performance of the hydraulic system allows up to two working operations to be carried out simultaneously. The capacity of the reservoir required for efficient operation of the hydraulic system is 560 liters. To clean consumables from mechanical impurities that inevitably appear during natural wear of parts, the oil tank is equipped with a drain filter.

Model KS-55732 is made mainly from domestic components, but some components are borrowed from foreign partners.
