STEERING AND BRAKING CONTROL
Side clutches are multi-plate clutches that are hydraulically actuated. Stopping brakes are multi-disc clutches that are permanently closed by spring force. Onboard clutches and brakes are cooled by oil under pressure and do not require adjustment during their entire service life.
FINAL TRANSMISSION
The final drive is two-stage, the 1st stage is external gears, the 2nd stage is planetary according to the “to +1” scheme (with a stopped ring gear). To facilitate replacement in the field, the drive sprocket is made of five sectors that are secured with bolts.

CHETRA T-9 has a semi-rigid 3-point suspension with a remote bogie swing axis, which provides increased traction and grip properties, improves working conditions and minimizes shock loads on the chassis system. The bulldozer's idler wheels and support rollers have double cone seals and are lubricated, requiring no replacement.
The tracks of this model are prefabricated. They are equipped with seals and lugs, and track tension is adjusted using a grease gun.
The bulldozer's gearbox is of the planetary type and shifts under pressure. It is structurally combined into a single unit with a main gear and a matching gearbox. These elements are installed in the rear axle bore.
CHETRA T-9 provides comfortable working conditions for the operator. The bulldozer is equipped with a single-seat cabin with double glazing, which features good visibility of work areas and equipment, regardless of working conditions. The cabin also features a dependent heater, a ventilation system, noise-absorbing upholstery and vibration-proof seats. Optionally, CHETRA T-9 is equipped with air conditioning and an additional heater.
The bulldozer controls are installed in accordance with ergonomic requirements and are easily accessible. The operation of the diesel engine is controlled by a pedal, and gear shifting and the choice of direction of movement occurs through the movement of the lever. It is quite convenient to operate the bulldozer from the operator’s chair, which allows you to carry out work without overwork.

For these versions of the bulldozer, most of the parameters are similar. Climatic modifications of CHETRA T-9 are “T” and “UHL” according to GOST 15150. With a full load, the equipment can be used at temperatures from -50 to +35 degrees. At higher temperatures, it is recommended to limit the load on the bulldozer to a level that ensures normal engine operation. At temperatures below -50 degrees, you should also reduce the load on equipment by maintaining it in working condition by moving without load and turning on the hydraulic system even during breaks.
