Kirov Tractor Plant is one of the oldest Russian enterprises. It was here that the first model of Soviet tractors, the Fordson-Putilovets, was developed. The transmission consists of a gearbox and a hydraulic drive of the rear axle. The operating range consists of four gears. There are 16 forward speeds and 8 reverse. The entire model range is equipped with a TwinDisc gearbox. This mechanism ensures a smooth transition between speeds without loss of operating power.

Chassis

As in previous models of the Kirovets family, the K-9000 does not have a solid frame. For better maneuverability of the machine and copying of soil unevenness, two movable semi-frames are used, connected to each other by hinges.

With the help of articulated joints, the half-frames can change their position relative to each other. This indicator is 16 degrees horizontally and 35 degrees in the vertical plane.

The tractor has two driving axles. Thanks to the use of gear drives in the crankcase and final drives, manufacturers were able to improve the balance of the car and increase ground clearance. All components are made of high-strength steel, which increases the service life of rubbing parts.
