Description of the drilling and piling machine BM-811

Drilling and piling equipment for the BM-811 drilling rig is available in three specific configurations: a drilling machine, a drilling rig with piling equipment and a pile driver. The most common option - drilling and piling - provides several types of work: drilling and driving, driving piles and drilling with a full auger.

As a mechanism for impact driving piles in the BM-811, a tubular diesel hammer SP-75A is used, with a striker weight of 1.25 tons. SP-75A is distinguished by an effective ratio of the weight of the impact part and the developed energy (29 kJ), thanks to which the BM-811 productively immerses reinforced concrete piles and sheet piling weighing up to 3 tons into all types of soil common in the Moscow region.

Important! The BM-811 drilling equipment is represented by a screw-type column operating from a hydraulic drive. The length of the drill string is 8 meters; if necessary, it can be extended using a telescopic extension up to 15 m.

For the purpose of constructing bored piles, the BM-811 is equipped with a hollow auger, which has an internal channel for filling the well with concrete mixture. A drill string with a hollow auger is a composite structure, the extension of which is carried out by joining the auger sections using a threaded connection.

The standard modification of this model is installed on the chassis of heavy trucks (for example, Ural). But the most acceptable option for automobile support is the use of a KrAZ vehicle. Its high maneuverability, stability and reliability, combined with very high engine power, allows the drilling and piling machine to carry out complex work in the most inaccessible places with terrain of different characteristics. It is possible to equip the machines with drills for the purpose of carrying out work in soil up to category 4 inclusive. Such construction equipment has virtually no analogues in Russia.

A special advantage of the BM-811 is the ability to drive piles into an already drilled hole without any re-equipment, and without changing position. The maximum depth of well drilling is up to 8 meters just per pass with an auger drill. It is possible to drill wells in areas where quicksand and “lenses” are present, while obtaining a clean and level well, which allows you to achieve bottom-hole pressure of up to 10 tons. The hydraulic units of this model have a simplified layout; instead of electrical control, manual control with hydraulic booster is used. The BM-811 is equipped with a heated operator's cabin, which is extremely important for the northern regions.

A distinctive feature of the BM-811, in comparison with analogues, is the increased power of drilling equipment, which leads to minimal time spent on developing wells in soil up to the 4th hardness category.

This is interesting! For drilling a well with a diameter of 360 mm. and a depth of 8 meters (with continuous excavation) in frozen soil conditions, the BM-811 spends 7-8 minutes. The machine is also capable of performing inclined drilling of wells; the maximum injection angle of the auger column is 80 degrees.

To develop wells in difficult soils with a large number of rocky inclusions, the BM-811 is equipped with a reinforced drill string, the thickness of the flange (the walls of the pipe to which the spiral blades are welded) is increased to 10-16 mm. To work in soils with a large number of rocky inclusions, a special tip is installed on the BM-811 auger column - a carbide roller bit, which effectively opens hard soil and protects the drill from deformation when colliding with boulders.

BM-811 copes with both high-density soils and moisture-saturated swampy soil and quicksand that do not have rigid structural connections. The machine drills smooth wells that are not prone to collapse with high pressure on the bottom. Additional stabilization of the well is achieved due to the friction forces of the drilled soil, rising along the spiral blades of the auger column, with the walls of the excavation.

Important! BM-811 has a wide range of available drilling diameters - the unit is capable of creating wells with a diameter of 150 to 500 mm.

When carrying out piling work, the BM-811 also demonstrates high functionality. The machine independently performs the entire range of technological operations for driving piles and sheet piling:

• Moving the pile from the consumable warehouse to the immersion point;
• Slinging the pile, lifting it with a crane winch and placing it in its original position for driving;
• Driving the pile until failure occurs.

To drive piles, the BM-811 is equipped with a mounted diesel hammer of the SP-75A tubular type. The weight of the impact hammer is 1.25 tons, the developed impact energy is 29 kJ. BM-811 loads reinforced concrete piles and sheet piles with a length of 8-12 m and a weight of 1.2 to 3 tons. The machine works with reinforced concrete piles with a cross-section from 30*30 to 40*40 centimeters.

BM-811 has a rotating working platform with an angle of rotation of 1800, which allows it to drive piles and drill wells at several points along the perimeter of 6 meters from its current location. This factor has a positive effect on speeding up work, since there is no need to constantly move equipment around the construction site.

BM-811 has the ability to carry out inclined driving of piles with a deviation from the vertical up to 30 degrees. For precise positioning of the driven pile, the installation is equipped with an electronic unit for measuring the longitudinal-transverse inclination of the pile driver mast.

Expert advice! BM-811 is equipped with two pairs of front and rear hydraulic outriggers, which extend and fix the unit during operation, giving it additional stability on areas with uneven terrain. The position of the outriggers is controlled from the BM-811 operator’s cabin.
