Ahead of all.

LEXION with APS HYBRID SYSTEM is distinguished by effective separation of residual grain with a 10-fold increase in the speed of transfer of grain mass between the rotors and concave, as well as increased centrifugal force - a fundamentally new separation technology compared to conventional straw walkers.

A unique combination with undeniable advantages.

  • Drum speed control independent of rotor speed
  • Adjust your workflow to meet changing conditions throughout the day
  • Gentle threshing with maximum productivity

APS HYBRID SYSTEM.

The APS HYBRID SYSTEM threshing system from CLAAS is a combination of two efficient technologies: the APS tangential threshing system and the ROTO PLUS performance separation system.

Gentle grain transportation with maximum productivity.

For the use of Controlled Traffic in a 12-metre system, in addition to the VARIO 1230 cutterbar, a suitable unloading auger is now available for the LEXION 770, 760 and 750 TERRA TRAC models. The LEXION 770 TERRA TRAC is equipped with a grain tank with a maximum volume of 13,500 l, adapted to the harvester's performance and the width of the header.

Electronic radial distribution control.

The two mechanically driven radial distributor rotors each have two movable deflectors. Thanks to this, LEXION effectively distributes the straw over the entire working width – with minimal effort, even in unfavorable conditions, such as varying straw moisture levels, strong cross winds or on a side slope.

CLAAS LEXION 770

Advantages.

  • Increase productivity by 20% thanks to the APS threshing system. Improved grain quality thanks to closed drum
  • APS + ROTO PLUS = APS HYBRID SYSTEM: a unique system. Only from CLAAS
  • Professional SPECIAL CUT chopper and radial distributor with mechanical drive and automatic adaptation of the throwing direction for uniform distribution over the entire working width
  • High road speeds to save time: electro-hydraulic chassis drive, up to 40 km/h for LEXION 760 and 750

  • Perkins 2206 D engine with plenty of power

Unique APS threshing system.
Pre-accelerator in the thresher: a unique system patented by CLAAS. Innovative CLAAS technologies work even before the threshing drum. Significant acceleration of the flow of grain mass from 3 to 20 m/s ensures maximum efficiency of all subsequent processes.

  • Thanks to pre-acceleration, mass is better dispersed
  • Crop flow becomes more uniform and moves 33% faster
  • More efficient grain separation due to increased centrifugal force
  • Up to 30% of all grains are separated already in the preliminary deck located under the accelerator, which significantly reduces the load on the main deck

The result is a 20% increase in productivity with unchanged fuel consumption.

In addition to the open threshing drum, a universal drum is also offered with a closed inter-beam space, which optimizes the flow of the grain mass, improves the quality of the grain, and also promotes more gentle processing. For optimal grain cleaning, APS offers multi-stage settings. With the help of passive main concave scoots and preliminary concave slabs, which can be activated by a special lever on the feed channel, APS ensures the highest quality.

ROTO PLUS separation system.

The uniform feeding of the APS system creates ideal conditions for the ROTO PLUS separation. The operating principle of ROTO PLUS is simple but extremely effective. The APS beater divides the mass into two streams and feeds them to both rotors, which rotate in counter motion. Eccentrically positioned rotors allow very high centrifugal forces to be generated to separate the remaining grain from the straw. With a diameter of 445 mm and a length of 4200 mm, LEXION rotors cover a large surface area. Thanks to the presence of a ramp, the mixture of grain, straw and chaff first falls to the bottom for preparation, and only then through falling stages onto the sieve frame. This allows you to significantly reduce the load on the sieve mill.

The rotor speed of the LEXION 770–750 is infinitely adjustable in CEBIS via a rotary switch from 350 to 1050 rpm. This ensures not only rapid adaptation of the rotation speed to different types of crops, harvesting conditions and straw properties, but also optimizes machine performance.

JET STREAM.

The JET STREAM cleaning system is designed to interact with the ROTO PLUS residual grain separation system.

  • Double cascade with purging
  • Height of the first cascade: 150 mm
  • Long compensation channel ensures uniform high pressure air flow
  • Turbofan, 8x (LEXION 770)
  • Turbofan, 6x (LEXION 760/750)
  • Electric adjustment of sieves from the cab

Automatic control with CEMOS AUTOMATIC.

Modern high-power engines.

Superior, high-quality Caterpillar engines deliver high power and low fuel consumption. The MEUI (Mechanical Electronic Unit Injection) means you can rely on the drive technology in the LEXION. It has enough power to keep you productive for long tasks, even in challenging conditions.

  • Engine Caterpillar C 13, R 6/12.5 l
  • Emission standard Stage IIIA (Tier 3)
  • Complete combustion of fuel
  • Improved engine performance
  • Low fuel consumption
  • Optimal power transmission
  • Fuel tank capacity up to 1150 l

Ahead of all.

LEXION with APS HYBRID SYSTEM is distinguished by effective separation of residual grain with a 10-fold increase in the speed of transfer of grain mass between the rotors and concave, as well as increased centrifugal force - a fundamentally new separation technology compared to conventional straw walkers.

A unique combination with undeniable advantages.

  • Regulation of the drum speed regardless of the rotor speed;
  • Adjusting the workflow in accordance with changing conditions during the day;
  • Gentle threshing with maximum productivity.

MASS FLOW. WITH PRODUCTIVITY IN MIND.

Optimal adaptation. Tilt camera.

The high productivity of our LEXION combine harvesters is ensured by the feeder chamber. The completely new feeder concept meets our high requirements.

Conventional feeders work with chain conveyors. The new chamber uses timing belts instead of chains to connect the feed plates. They are driven by gearing. This ensures powerful feeding of even large amounts of material and powerful reversing. Compared to a conventional feeder, a toothed belt conveyor has significant advantages.

  • Smooth operation and low noise;
  • Long service life and constant tension;
  • High strength and insensitivity to foreign objects.

Universal feeder camera.

The sloping entrance to the threshing elements ensures optimal material flow. Reliable transport chains or belts with feed plates ensure high reliability. In addition, the replaceable wear plate ensures long service life.

HP Feeder Camera.

For optimal adaptation to any harvesting conditions, the HP (Header Pitch) inclined chamber allows you to manually change the cutting angle. In relation to the central position, the cutting angle can be changed by 8° backwards and 11° forwards. Mechanical adjustment is made using the top link on the feeder.

HP hydraulic feeder.

Hydraulic adjustment of the cutting angle is carried out using a hydraulic cylinder. The cutting angle can be saved along with four possible cutting heights. Even when harvesting fallen crops and low stubble heights, the header always works with the optimal cutting angle.

V-shaped feeder.

With header dock adjustment, the V-tube allows quick and easy cutting angle adjustment (even with the attachment installed) to adapt to any harvesting conditions and different tires. The cutting angle setting is transmitted from one central point in parallel to both sides. The cutting angle value can be determined using the scale.

More latest technologies. APS HYBRID SYSTEM.

The APS HYBRID SYSTEM threshing system from CLAAS is a combination of two efficient technologies: the APS tangential threshing system and the ROTO PLUS performance separation system.

CLAAS was able to combine both systems in one machine and achieve significantly higher productivity thanks to APS.

A unique combination with undeniable advantages:

  • Regulation of the drum speed regardless of the rotor speed;
  • Adjusting the workflow in accordance with changing conditions during the day;
  • Gentle threshing with maximum productivity.

More pre-acceleration. APS.

  • Thanks to pre-acceleration, the mass is better dispersed;
  • The flow of plant matter becomes more uniform and moves 33% faster;
  • More efficient grain separation due to increased centrifugal force;
  • Up to 30% of all grains are separated already in the preliminary concave located under the accelerator, which significantly reduces the load on the main deck.

The result is a 20% increase in productivity with unchanged fuel consumption.

APS system: better grain quality.

For optimal grain cleaning, APS offers multi-stage settings. With the help of passive main concave scoots and preliminary concave plates, which can be activated by a special lever on the feed channel, APS ensures the highest grain quality.

Synchronous work.

The accelerator and threshing drum, breaker beater are driven through a central variator. When the speed of the threshing drum changes, the rotational speed or peripheral speed of the accelerator and breaker beater changes synchronously. The result: gentle processing of the product at a uniformly high feed rate.

High performance rotors.

Eccentrically positioned rotors allow very high centrifugal forces to be generated to separate the remaining grain from the straw. With a diameter of 445 mm and a length of 4200 mm, LEXION rotors provide a large separation area.

Thanks to the presence of a pitched board, the mixture of grain, straw and chaff first falls on the preparatory bottom, and only then through the blown cascades to the sieve mill. This can significantly reduce the cleaning load.

Convenient adjustment of the rotor plates.

Automatic control with CEMOS AUTOMATIC.

All LEXION models are equipped with hydraulic plates to change the separation area. The HOTKEY rotary switch allows you to reduce the open area of the separation system in steps, right from the cab. At low humidity, this can reduce the cleaning load, and at high humidity, a wider area can be used for efficient grain separation. The result is a controlled change in the working surface of the rotors for maximum performance in all conditions.

Variable rotor drive.

Automatic control with CEMOS AUTOMATIC.

The rotor speed is infinitely adjustable in CEBIS using a rotary switch in the range from 350 to 1050 rpm, regardless of the threshing drum speed. This ensures not only rapid adaptation of the rotation speed to different types of crops, harvesting conditions and straw properties, but also optimizes the machine's performance throughout the day.

MORE CLEAN. FOR BRILLIANT RESULTS.

JET STREAM.

The JET STREAM cleaning system is designed to interact with the ROTO PLUS residual grain separation system.

  • Double cascade with purging;
  • Height of the first cascade: 150 mm;
  • The long compensation channel ensures uniform high pressure air flow;
  • Turbofan, 8x (LEXION 770);
  • Turbofan, 6x (LEXION 760/750);
  • Electric adjustment of sieves from the cab.

Automatic control with AUTO CLEANING and AUTO SLOPE.

Double blowing.

Double purge cascades provide intensive pre-cleaning. The turbofan provides the necessary air flow and can be continuously adjusted from the cab.

Preparatory bottom.

The preparatory bottom pre-sorts the masses: grain down, chaff and short straw up. This allows you to reduce the load on the upper sieve and improve the quality of cleaning. To clean the preparatory board after completion of work, all 6 (LEXION 770) or 4 (LEXION 760/750) polymer segments can be removed forward.

NEW: Controlled Traffic app in 12 m system.

For the use of Controlled Traffic in a 12-metre system, in addition to the VARIO 1230 cutterbar, a suitable unloading auger is now available for the LEXION 770, 760 and 750 TERRA TRAC models. When driving on roads, the rear part of the unloading auger simply folds down.

NEW: hopper capacity up to 13,500 l.

After completion of the threshing, residual grain separation and cleaning processes, the grain enters a grain bin with an automatic lid.

An additional advantage is the hopper capacity of up to 13,500 l, which is ideal for the LEXION combine.

Higher productivity. More comfort. New straw chopper.

Sometimes enlarging the working parts helps. Thanks to the increased rotor diameter of the new straw chopper, the grip and direction of the crop flow are improved. The elongated bottom of the shredder allows the material to be transported longer and accelerated more strongly. Thanks to this, especially with a standard straw distribution deflector, the throwing distance and distribution quality can be significantly increased.

CLAAS straw recycling system. With SPECIAL CUT.

From the rotors, the straw is fed directly to the chopper, the intensity of which is adjusted according to the harvesting conditions. High-quality grinding will be ensured by 108 frequently located knives with double-sided sharpening, a transverse cutting edge and a counter-cut. For even more thorough grinding, LEXION is equipped with a rotating grating mechanism. Then the finely chopped mass goes to the radial spreader.

Radial distributor with mechanical drive.

Excellent straw distribution of the highest quality is guaranteed by the mechanically driven radial spreader. The two counter-rotating rotors are driven by a belt and therefore always rotate at the same speed. This unique drive concept contributes to uniform distribution quality. The advantages of the new radial spreader are especially evident in fields with variable conditions (dry straw in standing stands, wet and heavy straw in lying down conditions).

Electronic distribution control.

Each rotor is equipped with two movable deflectors, the throwing width of which can be adjusted both together and separately. This allows adaptation to any possible conditions of practical application. In this way, LEXION ensures efficient straw distribution with minimal effort, even under very unfavorable conditions, such as large amounts of straw, variable straw moisture content, strong crosswinds or when working on slopes.

Automatic adaptation of throwing direction.

All LEXION models with radial spreader can be equipped with two sensors to automatically adapt the direction of throwing of the crushed material. The sensors are located on the right and left of the car's headlight brackets. With CEBIS, the combine operator can conveniently adjust the sensitivity of the sensors.

Even distribution of chaff.

From the sieve frame, short straw and chaff fall onto a hydraulically driven chaff spreader. The flow control valve allows you to individually change the rotation speed and the width of the mass distribution across the field.

MORE POWER RESERVE. ENGINES.

Modern high-power engines.

Superior, high-quality Perkins engines provide high power and low fuel consumption. The MEUI (Mechanical Electronic Unit Injection) means you can rely on the drive technology in the LEXION. It has enough power to keep you productive for long tasks, even in challenging conditions.

Data.

  • Perkins 2206D, 12.5 l;
  • Six cylinders in line;
  • Exhaust emissions standard Stage IIIA (Tier 3);
  • Full integration of CLAAS Service;
  • High torque;
  • Low fuel consumption;
  • Optimal power transmission;
  • New main and additional fuel tanks with a total volume of 1150 liters.

Planar dust extraction.

Reliable system: Thanks to the planar dust extraction, the LEXION has a high cooling capacity and sufficient cooling reserves. When air enters from above, automatic dust extraction ensures constant cleaning of the cooler. Dust is discharged downwards. Contamination of the radiator fins is significantly reduced.

TERRA TRAC. More careful attitude towards the soil.

Transporting large vehicles on public roads is becoming increasingly difficult. Moreover, in different countries, traffic rules regulate transport width differently.

Four versions of the TERRA TRAC track chassis are available in three widths for the various LEXION models. This means there is a suitable track for every TERRA TRAC application.

The TERRA TRAC rice chassis with a width of 890 mm is available for the LEXION 770 and 760. With this chassis, the LEXION 760 can reach speeds of up to 40 km/h on the road.

Comfort like never before. Hydropneumatic suspension.

  • The drive wheel, impeller and support rollers are arranged to rotate relative to each other; the supports are reinforced with hydraulic cylinders with receivers;
  • The result: automatic level compensation at speeds above 2 km/h for better cornering stability;
  • Three different chassis heights can be set in CEBIS.

Review: TERRA TRAC crawler chassis.

  • Transport width of only 3.29 m (LEXION 760/750);
  • Transport width 3.49 m (LEXION 770);
  • Gentle impact on the soil: specific pressure is 66% less than that of a wheeled vehicle;
  • Better traction (corn/rice/moisture/slope);
  • Increased stability on slopes (side roll);
  • Less resistance to movement, slipping, fuel consumption;
  • Durability and increased performance;
  • Possibility of driving at a speed of 30 or 40 km/h.

Improved maneuverability. Four-joint axle.

LEXION obliges us to actively promote new solutions. The patented design developed by CLAAS sets new standards with its two advantages. It provides unrestricted maneuverability even with large tires up to 1.65 m high (30″) and maintains unparalleled stability and load capacity.

The new four-joint axle reacts to uneven ground not only in the same way as a conventional pendulum axle by swinging around the hitch point, but with an additional movement to the side. This gives the four-joint axle significantly more maneuverability for a tight turning radius.

30″ tires up to 1.65 m high.

The large supporting surface contributes to a shallower rut depth. Thus, the gentle impact on the soil is achieved not only by the TERRA TRAC chassis on the front axle, but also by the unique 30″ tires on the rear wheels.

  • Tire size 500/85 R 30;
  • Tire height up to 1.65 m.

Device for regulating tire pressure on the steered axle.

To increase traction, the steering axle of the LEXION 770–750 can be equipped with a tire pressure control system. The combine operator regulates tire pressure directly from the cab using CEBIS. If the required tire pressure values for field work and road transport are stored, the set value can be automatically set when the road transport switch is operated. As an alternative, tire pressure can be set manually using a two-position switch in the cab roof.

By lowering tire pressure when working in the field, soil compaction is reduced, the risk of slipping is reduced and traction is increased. For road transport, pressure adaptation provides increased driving stability, reduced wear and reduced fuel consumption.

EASY. SIMPLY MORE OPPORTUNITIES.

EASY stands for Efficient Agricultural Systems. The name matches the content: EASY simplifies work in all areas, from machine optimization with CEMOS AUTOMATIC, steering and fleet monitoring systems with TELEMATICS to farm management programs. This product allows you to perfectly coordinate all systems with each other and make the most of the capabilities of machines, operators and the enterprise as a whole.

GRAIN QUALITY CAMERA.

Assessing grain quality, i.e. determining the proportion of crushed grain and non-grain impurities in a grain bin requires the machine operator to perform certain routine actions and high concentration.
Non-grain impurities are straw, chaff, top parts of ears and dust. GRAIN QUALITY CAMERA, installed on the elevator head, allows you to visually assess the quality of the crop. The system is available for LEXION 770 and 760. Automatic image processing. The images obtained with the GRAIN QUALITY CAMERA are subject to continuous analysis in a fully automatic mode. The location of the camera at the head of the elevator ensures high reliability of the data, since the material at this point is not subject to delamination and the camera receives a direct image of the flow.

CEMOS.

With CEMOS, CLAAS brings together all the systems used to optimize machine performance. CEMOS is available in two different versions:

  1. Dialogue systems such as CEMOS DIALOG or CEMOS Advisor. These systems guide the operator step-by-step to the optimal machine settings. In this case, the operator is required to confirm or adjust the proposed parameters.
  2. CEMOS AUTOMATIC is the generic name for the various automatic optimization functions of the machine and the corresponding processes. The operator only needs to activate the automatic functions. These functions include, for example, AUTO CLEANING to optimize cleaning or AUTO SEPARATION to optimize the ROTO PLUS separation system.

HARVESTING THE HARVEST, NOT SETTING UP THE COMBINE.

All CEMOS AUTOMATIC functions continuously and automatically adapt the machine to the harvesting conditions and ensure maximum productivity with the highest grain quality and purity, as well as minimal fuel consumption. The operator only needs to activate the automatic functions.

Automatic separation and cleaning.

The AUTO CLEANING function optimizes cleaning by setting the following units:

  • Opening degree of the lower sieve;
  • Fan speed;
  • The degree of opening of the upper sieve.

The AUTO SEPARATION function is active in the ROTO PLUS separation system and makes the following settings:

  • Rotor speed;
  • Rotor flap position.

Principle of operation.

The operating principle is simple but extremely effective: after starting work in the field, the AUTO CLEANING and AUTO SEPARATION functions regulate certain setpoints and, after a short time, determine the optimal settings for the working systems. These optimal settings are constantly checked and adapted to changing harvesting conditions during operation. Thus, AUTO CLEANING and AUTO SEPARATION provide constant adjustments that no operator can perform manually.

Four optimization strategies.

The operator can choose one of four optimization strategies:\

  • Maximum performance;
  • Minimum fuel consumption/straw quality;
  • High threshing quality;
  • Balanced ratio.

With his choice, the machine operator specifically sets AUTO CLEANING and AUTO SEPARATION, what result should be achieved in accordance with the required strategy. To ensure optimal performance of this task, AUTO CLEANING independently regulates the cleaning, and AUTO SEPARATION independently regulates the separation of residual grain.

Complete freedom of action for the operator.

AUTO CLEANING and AUTO SEPARATION are based on the CEMOS DIALOG software. The operator can intervene in the operation of the system at any time and, using dialogues with CEMOS, determine the correct settings. However, both automatic functions remain active.

In addition, it is of course possible to continuously manually adjust the residual grain separation and cleaning in CEBIS. In this case, automatic functions are temporarily disabled.

When you press the AUTO PILOT button on the multifunction joystick/CMOTION again, the AUTO CLEANING and AUTO SEPARATION functions are activated again.

In addition, the automatic function can be fully activated or deactivated. The AUTO CLEANING and AUTO SEPARATION functions can also be activated or deactivated independently of each other.

Indication and control.

To display and control AUTO CLEANING and AUTO SEPARATION, you can use the machine's CEBIS terminal or the CEBIS MOBILE mobile terminal. The CEBIS MOBILE terminal displays all implements and their settings for the operator. The CEBIS terminal of the machine can only be used to control the machine; an overview of the units is not available.

NEW: automatic maintenance of grain purity.

With the combination of the GRAIN QUALITY CAMERA with the AUTO CLEANING and AUTO SEPARATION functions integrated into CEMOS AUTOMATIC, CLAAS sets a new standard in threshing automation.

The data obtained with the GRAIN QUALITY CAMERA can now be actively used to configure the AUTO CLEANING and AUTO SEPARATION functions of the CEMOS AUTOMATIC system.

Operating principle:

Data from GRAIN QUALITY CAMERA, in addition to the share of crushed grain, also shows the share of non-grain impurities. The latter is displayed graphically on the CEBIS screen, either in real time or in the cleaning mode menu. By adjusting the measurement sensitivity, the operator can set the desired degree of grain purity. If this is not achieved, the AUTO CLEANING and AUTO SEPARATION functions continuously optimize grain cleaning and separation. GRAIN QUALITY CAMERA support is enabled and disabled in CEBIS.

Correct setting using CEMOS DIALOG.

CEMOS DIALOG functions as an assistant that always determines the desired settings for the combine, taking into account the parameters of power, quality, safety and efficiency. The average presets in the crop register will work well for almost any harvesting condition, but there is usually always room for optimization. CEMOS helps to take advantage of this opportunity.

CEMOS DIALOG in action.

The setting proposal for a performance change is displayed by CEMOS in color: green = positive change, red = negative change.

Menu structure:

  1. The volume of the gathering;
  2. Grain content in the harvest;
  3. Capacity control, residual grain separation;
  4. Capacity control, cleaning;
  5. Status display;
  6. Various auxiliary functions;
  7. Exit menu.

Dialogue management principle.

The operator assistance system operates on an external terminal (CEBIS MOBILE). CEMOS DIALOG informs the operator about the optimal settings using dialog boxes.

Optimization is performed in three stages:

  1. The machine operator requests a customization proposal (for example, to reduce losses);
  2. CEMOS DIALOG makes a logical setting suggestion;
  3. The operator accepts this adjustment proposal or rejects it.

Steps 2 and 3 are repeated until a satisfactory result is achieved or the transmission of proposals from CEMOS DIALOG ceases. Changes to machine settings are carried out whenever possible by the CEMOS DIALOG system (for example changing the fan speed), but always require confirmation by the operator. Automatic changes without confirmation are not possible. A detailed help function is available in almost every CEMOS DIALOG dialog box. If it is necessary to manually set up the machine, CEMOS DIALOG clearly explains the procedure to the operator.

Function for processing the non-grain part of the crop, built into CEMOS DIALOG.

The new LEXION series of combine harvesters from CLAAS introduces a new convenient setting for SPECIAL CUT. The counters and grating bottom can be pushed in and out directly from the cab. If the grinding quality is unsatisfactory, the CEMOS DIALOG system makes appropriate suggestions for improvement.

Overview of all units.

The CEMOS DIALOG system and its presentation are controlled via the optional CEBIS MOBILE terminal, which displays all units and their current settings. All text messages and color images appear on the display for making settings.

Higher security. Automatic control of mass flow.

How to make cleaning safer? In extreme conditions, constant concentration is required from the operator for the smooth operation of the machine. Often there are only a few days to harvest grain of optimal quality, so every minute counts.

Fast reaction.

When the preset slip limit is exceeded, the following occurs automatically:

  • The header brake is activated;
  • The power supply and the set-top box are turned off;
  • Tempomat or CRUISE PILOT: if the systems are active, the speed is reduced to 1.5 km/h;
  • Grain tank unloading is disabled if active.

This prevents new material from entering the machine, reducing downtime due to clogging or damage.

Working at maximum power.

The automatic mass flow control function is designed to help the machine operator work at the power limit. It provides the required security by automatically monitoring the flow components and launching the required operations.
