Lifting equipment

The set of boom equipment to support installation work is basic for the MKG-40. The kit includes the main boom, extensions, jibs.

To work with long loads made of precast reinforced concrete (up to 12 m), high-rise structures, and pile drivers, tower-boom type equipment is used.

Boom length – 25.8 m (main – 15.8 m). Lattice sections are extended to 30.8 and 35.8 m, which increases the area served by the crane, but reduces the weight of the cargo being handled.

The L-shaped boom head is equipped with a six-meter jib with an installed hook clip of the cable from the 5-ton auxiliary lift winch. A small jib with a length of 2.1 meters can be installed on the boom.

Control

The double operator's cabin is separated from the engine room, where the diesel generator set and control cabinet are mounted. Front and side glazing and lighting provide the necessary overview of the work site.

The cargo lifting winch is switched by a command controller; additional and boom winch, travel unit - magnetic starting switches; rotating device - cam electric controller.

Basic security systems:

  2. Limiter for boom lift parameter. In cranes with flexible suspension, the booms are mounted in units that prevent tilting.
  3. Lift limiter for the hook device, located in the head part of the boom installation.

When one of the limiters is triggered, the control system unit automatically disables the controlled unit or group of mechanisms.

The system allows operation only by ensuring a decrease in the parameters that caused the limit sensor signal. If the lifting capacity is exceeded, the winch can only be started for lowering.

The boom winch will operate to reduce the reach of the hook device.

A crawler crane consists of two main parts: a slewing and a fixed crane.

It is a running welded frame connected to two longitudinal beams on which final drives are installed. The crane is turned by slowing down one of the tracks, while the speed of the second one increases. When one track is fully braked, the speed of the second doubles, and the crane rotates around its axis.

The movement mechanisms are made with separate drives of crawler bogies according to several design schemes. The lifting mechanisms have a dual-motor drive with a differential, which gives four speeds.

Drive unit

Cranes with a low lifting capacity are driven by a diesel engine with a mechanical transmission, and with a lifting capacity of more than 16 tons, by a diesel generator set. Cranes with an AC power plant can operate from an external network. In some models of cranes with group drive mechanisms, a turbo transformer is installed in the transmission, which improves the performance characteristics of the crane. However, the scheme with a turbotransformer is quite complex and cannot be implemented using only standard components and parts. The use of an individual drive in this regard has great advantages. Crawler assembly cranes use exclusively an individual drive, and their individual models differ mainly only in the layout of the mechanisms on the turntable.

MKT-40

The MKT crane consists of a rotating section mounted through a full-revolving shoulder strap on a 1-axle platform. The front part of the chassis is equipped with a bracket that is installed on the fifth wheel of the towing vehicle. On the chassis there is a stand necessary for laying the boom when the crane moves along public roads.

The rear axle of the chassis is equipped with a drive that includes an AC electric motor. Electricity comes from a generator, the rotor of which is driven by the tractor’s power unit. A transfer gearbox is used to transmit torque from the motor. The drive is turned on by the driver of the tractor; The mode is only used when driving short distances at a speed of 4.5 km/h.

The unit is equipped with a 3-section boom, which is expanded using a hydraulic cylinder and cable drives. To ensure stability, a support contour with dimensions of 5600*5800 mm is used. The chassis and units allow the machine to be operated at temperatures from -40°C to +40°C.

When the crane is idle, the pump reaches its minimum working volume and does not supply working fluid to the hydraulic system, and as a result, the chassis engine is unloaded.

The MKT-6-45 crane is a modernized version of the model 40 machine, adapted for work during the construction of oil and gas industry facilities.

The crane equipment has undergone changes: the basic boom has a length of 15 m, but by using inserts it can be increased to 43 m. 2 versions of extension sections have been produced - 5 and 8 m each.

Preparing the base

The temperature of the base and the environment must be in the range from +5 °C to +30 °C. The base must be dry, strong, thoroughly free of dust, dirt, oil stains, bitumen, residues of organic and mineral adhesives, paints and other substances that can weaken the adhesion of the plaster layer to the base. Before applying the solution, the surface of the base must be moistened, and it is recommended to treat uneven or highly absorbent surfaces (foam concrete, aerated concrete, old brickwork) with a deep penetration primer EK GS300 DEEP, EK GS300 TIEFENGRUND or EK GS400 ANTISEPTIC in one layer, and unevenly or highly absorbent surfaces (foam concrete, aerated concrete, old brickwork) in two layers.

Preparation of the solution

To prepare the EK TG40 solution you need:

  • Take a precisely measured amount of water (12-15 liters per 30 kg bag)
  • Pour the mixture into water
  • Mix using a construction mixer or a drill with a special attachment until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
  • Maintain a technological pause of 5-10 minutes for the solution to mature
  • Stir again

After this, the plaster is ready for use within 90 minutes with occasional stirring

Work order

The plaster is applied to the base and leveled using the rule. The recommended thickness of the plaster layer applied in one pass is from 5 to 50 mm. After the setting begins, lightly moisten the plastered surface, rub it with a sponge trowel and smooth it with a metal float. If it is necessary to plaster in several layers on the surface of the first layer that has not yet hardened, it is recommended to make a notch with a plaster comb or a notched trowel, and then apply a second layer of plaster to the dried surface (but not earlier than a day later).

Actuators
