Second technical maintenance (TO-2) of the RSM-10B “Don-1500B” combine

ATTENTION! If the combine, after operating for 240-300 operating hours, continues to harvest, then it is necessary to carry out TO-2 operations: - carry out ETO operations

and TO-1;

— check and, if necessary, adjust the alignment of the steered wheels and eliminate axial play;

— wash the breathers of the final drives and the drive wheel axle range boxes;

— lubricate the friction units according to the lubrication table.

If the combine, after operating for 240-300 hours, does not continue harvesting, then combine the TO-2 operations with the operations of preparing the combine for storage.

7.7

Maintenance during storage of the RSM-10B "Don-1500B" combine

7.7.1 Preparing the combine for long-term storage:

— carry out TO-2 operations;

— install the combine harvester with the PKN-1500B device (chopper-spreader, stacker), header and pick-up platform on the site for maintenance, open the fence panels and hatches;

— turn on the thresher and run it idle for 10-15 minutes to remove crop residues;

— clean the working parts of the combine from dust, small crop residues, blow them with compressed air (remove and disassemble individual parts and components of the combine only if absolutely necessary, since premature disassembly and assembly of components shortens their service life);

— using compressed air, remove dirt and plant debris from all wiring harnesses and plug blocks located outside the combine cabin, including the left side panel harness blocks located behind the rear wall of the cabin and covered with a decorative shield. If the pads are heavily soiled and cannot be cleaned with air, disconnect the pads and clean them with a thin screwdriver, then blow with compressed air and reconnect the pads. During cleaning, carefully inspect the pads to identify possible damage to their housings and make sure that the plugs are securely fixed in the sockets of the pads; eliminate any defects identified;

— cover electrical equipment with covers;

— wash the external surfaces;

— remove the covers and dry the combine;

— check the completeness and technical condition of the combine, if necessary, replace worn parts;

— run the combine for five minutes, drain the oil from the hydraulic tank. Add 10% (but not less than 2 l) of AKOR-1 additive to the drained oil and mix the components thoroughly, the temperature of the mixture should not exceed 60 °C. Pour the resulting mixture into the hydraulic tank of the hydraulic system;

— to preserve the internal cavities of the hydraulic units and oil pipelines of the hydraulic system, start the diesel engine, run the combine for five minutes, turning on all the executive bodies alternately. At the end of the run-in, fill the tanks with working fluid “under the plug”. It is allowed not to add AKOR-1 to the oil of the main hydraulic system;

— loosen the springs of safety clutches, tensioning and balancing mechanisms;

— prepare the drive belts for storage: loosen the tension, clean them from oil contamination;

— when storing under a shelter, remove the drive belts, wipe dry, powder with talcum powder and put them in the storeroom, indicating the combine number on the tag. During subsequent assembly, place the belts on the combine from which they were removed;

— treat rusted surfaces with a rust converter;

— areas with damaged paint should be cleaned, wiped, degreased and painted, or coated with a preservation lubricant;

— coat all unpainted metal parts with an anti-corrosion compound, including those located inside the combine, as well as parts that are subject to polishing during operation (the bottom of the header, etc.);

— remove the chains and wash them in washing liquid (kerosene, diesel fuel or gasoline), remove them from defects. Suitable for use, immerse in engine oil M-10DM or M-10G2k heated to 80-90 °C for 15-20 minutes, after drying, install it on the combine in a weakened state;

— pull the rods and plungers all the way into the bottom of the hydraulic cylinder;

— clean the terminals of electrical equipment (headlights, starter generator, etc.), coat with protective lubricant;

- apply conservation lubricant to the working surfaces of pulleys, sprockets, belt and chain drives, the inner surface of the after-threshing device, the protruding parts of the hydraulic cylinder rods and spools, the spherical surfaces of the hydraulic cylinder rod hinges, the rotation axes of the tensioning device levers, the cutting apparatus and the header auger, the threaded surfaces of the tensioning and other adjusting devices, other working parts, the surfaces of which were subject to abrasion during operation;

— seal the filler neck of the fuel tank and the breather of the hydraulic tank;

— place the combine in a dry room;

— close the hatches and shields;

— install the combine on rigid stands in a strictly horizontal position, which prevents sagging, skewing and bending of the frame and ensures unloading of the pneumatic wheels (there should be a clearance of 8-10 cm between the tires and the supporting surface);

— reduce the pressure in the tires of the steered and driven wheels to 70% of the nominal;

— when storing the combine under a canopy, cover the tires with a protective compound;

— hand over tools, accessories and spare parts to the warehouse;

— when storing the combine under a canopy, additionally remove the generator, starter, headlights, side and signal lights and store them in a dry room; install parts for storing removed components in their places;

— when storing the combine under a canopy, cover all holes, cracks and cavities (loading and unloading, inspection devices, filler necks of gearboxes, breathers of hydraulic tanks, exhaust pipe, etc.) through which precipitation can enter the internal cavities of the combine with lids or plugs - plugs;

— to ensure the free exit of water from the cooling system and condensate, leave the drainage devices open;

— close the hoods and cabin doors.

7.7.2

Maintenance during storage of the RSM-10B "Don-1500B" combine

When performing maintenance during storage, check:

— position of the combine on stands;

— completeness;

— condition of anti-corrosion coatings (presence of protective lubricant, integrity of paint, absence of corrosion);

— tire pressure of drive and steered wheels;

— the condition of the plugs and the tightness of their fit;

— condition of protective devices (integrity and strength of fastening of covers, shields, covers);

— perform monthly 10-15 activations of each hydraulic valve spool in both directions;

— make 10-15 full revolutions of the steering wheel monthly in both directions, rotating it from one extreme position to the other until it stops.

Eliminate any detected defects. Record the results of the check in a journal entry.

7.7.3 Maintenance during removal from storage:

— set normal air pressure in the tires of the drive and steering axles;

— before installing front and rear signal lights on the combine, check the presence and integrity of the electric lamps.

Make sure that all keys on the GTS control handle and the electrohydraulic control panel are not jammed. Replace defective lamps and keys with serviceable ones;

— install batteries on the combine;

— when storing the combine under a canopy, reinstall the generator, starter, headlights, side and signal lights, and belts;

— adjust the tension of belt and chain drives, the springs of the header (picker) balancing mechanism;

— adjust the safety clutches;

— check and, if necessary, add brake fluid to the brake and lock system reservoirs;

— drain the fuel sediment from the fuel tank and the fuel coarse filter;

— add fuel to the specified level in the tank;

— check the functionality of the systems and adjust the components and mechanisms of the combine in accordance with the technical requirements;

— clean the plugs, stands, tags and other devices to prepare the combine for long-term storage and return them to the warehouse.
