In addition, the boom retraction time has been improved (oil flows from the arm and boom hydraulic cylinders are combined through regenerative valves).

In Russia, earth-moving equipment is sold both locally produced and supplied from Japan. In 2014, the Hitachi plant was opened in the Tver region, which produces five models of hydraulic excavators: ZX180LCN-5G, ZX200-5G, ZX240-5G, ZX280-5G, ZX330-5G. All other models are imported.
In the production of excavators in Tver, key components (engine, hydraulic system, electrical components) made in Japan are used. At the same time, a sufficient number of components were localized. The next step was taken this year - in the spring, a procurement shop was opened, where sheet steel is now cut, bent and prepared for the welding stage. Booms, handles, rotary platforms and running frames for excavators are made from this steel. This made it possible to localize another stage of production. It is also important that the rolled metal comes from local suppliers. “We strive to develop partnerships with Russian manufacturers, so we already receive some components of our excavators from local enterprises,” the company noted.
Scope of application
Hitachi excavators on a pneumatic wheel base are widely used for the following activities:
- digging pits for subsequent installation of foundations in them;
- development of trenches for pipelines and network communications;
- creation of artificial reservoirs and pools;
- mining in quarries with a small area;
- leveling and leveling of embankments;
- loading and unloading of bulk materials;
- construction of earthen ramparts;
- demolition of buildings using concrete breaking equipment;
- driving piles using a hydraulic hammer;

As for the power units of excavators, based on operating experience of the Hitachi ZX200-3 models, it was decided to use mechanical engines with a direct fuel injection system that meet the Tier 2 eco-standard. These diesel engines have a reduced sensitivity of the fuel system, which reduces fuel requirements.

Chassis
The cross-shaped frame of the Hitachi ZX200-5G excavator consists of monolithic plates connected by welding. This guarantees its increased strength and reliability.
The reduction in dynamic impacts is due to the installation of a track tension element. The front guide rollers and hydraulic cylinders of the tie rods are combined in one functional unit, which increases their wear resistance and provides extended service life.
The brackets for guide rollers and travel hydraulic motors are thicker, which has a positive effect on their durability.

Maintenance

- narrow-size (LCN) - narrow chassis (overall width does not exceed 2,500 mm) significantly simplifies transportation on public roads and maneuvering equipment around the site in limited space;
- for severe operating conditions (H), equipped with reinforced working and attachment equipment, additional protective and reinforced elements, a weighted counterweight;
- for dismantling work (K) with pipelines for additional attachments, reinforced working and attachment equipment, additional protective guards and reinforced elements, additional wiper blades and a full-flow filter;

For each model there are several modifications depending on the type of installed working and attachment equipment:
- (SA) - shortened handle with a larger bucket;
- (LA) - extended handle with a smaller bucket;
- (B) / (C) / (D) - various types of buckets other than standard ones.
Russian-made models are available in Standard, LC (long wheelbase), LCH (strengthened version) modifications. All these models can be prepared for work in cold climates (from -40 to +40?). The plant produces models with expanded standard equipment compared to those imported from Japan. A rear view camera and additional lights on the cab are included in the standard equipment package, and additional hydraulic piping for working with a hydraulic hammer, track shoes (from 600 to 800 mm depending on the machine version), and buckets of different sizes and designs are optionally available.
