Starting a diesel engine is facilitated by glow plugs at temperatures below 5 °C. The diesel starting network voltage is 24V, the voltage in the tractor on-board network is 12V. Monitoring, diagnostics and management of diesel engine operation is carried out by a separate electronic system.

It should also be noted that modifications 2022.4 can be equipped with a DEUTZ TDC2013L062V diesel engine with an operating power of 148 kW (201 hp) and similar characteristics with the power units described above.

Place of “MTZ-892.2” in the plant’s model range; scope of application

The 892nd model of Belarus was created on the basis of MTZ-82.1. It differs from its predecessor in a more revving engine equipped with a turbocharging system; heater and starter 24V; larger tires and synchronized transmission. And “MTZ-892.2” is a modification of “Belarus MTZ-892”.

It differs from the base model in that the 90-horsepower MMZ “D-245.5” diesel engine installed on the tractor has been upgraded to the European environmental standard “Stage I”. For the rest, the MTZ-892.2 tractor performs the entire range of work of its base MTZ-892 tractor.

Thanks to a wide range of accessories and components for additional equipment, this tractor is truly capable of being useful for solving a wide variety of tasks. First of all, in crop production of small and medium-sized peasant farms. And also in forestry and municipal farms; partly in industry and construction. From the technical and technological sides, this model is the epitome of a combination of truly modern technologies for the production of agricultural machinery.

Transmission

The distribution of engine power to the running wheels is ensured by: the power transmission of the clutch mechanism, the tractor gearbox, and the gearboxes of the rear and front drive axles. Additionally, a PTO gearbox and its independent drive from the engine are built into the transmission housing.

The MTZ 2022 gearbox is mechanical synchronized 24F+ 12R, three-range, six-speed, with a divider for up and down gears. Thus, in one range with 6 speeds, due to the divider, the number of gears doubles to 12. Taking into account two forward ranges and one reverse range, the tractor has 24 forward speeds and 12 reverse. Switching is carried out within the range from 1.86 to 39.7 km/h forward speed and from 2.6 to 18.4 km/h reverse.

Direct control of the gearbox is carried out by two separate bodies - the range selection lever and the speed selection lever. Reverse gears are only engaged when the reverse range is first engaged. This gearbox arrangement is convenient to operate when performing work in reverse mode.

Switching from an increased gear to a lower one, or vice versa, is carried out by an electro-hydraulic drive using a control button on the gear shift lever, where the H switches the gearbox to a higher operating mode, the L – a lower mode. The compliance of the switched on stage is signaled by lamps on the lever handle. The green lamp corresponds to the inclusion of a lower stage, and the red lamp corresponds to a higher stage. The divider is switched only after first moving the gear shift lever to the neutral position.

Gearbox 16F+8R - hydromechanical with constant mesh gears with hydraulically preloaded friction clutches, four-speed with a divider for high and low speeds, three-range. In one range, taking into account the two stages of the reducer-divider, 8 gears are obtained. In general, taking into account two forward speed ranges and one rear, the unit provides 16 forward speeds in the range from 2.8 to 39.5 km/h and 8 reverse speeds in the range from 4 to 18.6 km/h.

The ranges are switched using a lever by engaging the synchronized gear clutches of the gearbox stages, and gears are engaged by a joystick by controlling the hydraulic drive of the clutches. Activation of an increased or decreased gear stage using an electrohydraulic drive. The ranges are switched only when the tractor and gearbox are stopped with a preliminary braking mode using a button on the handle of the range lever. Shifting of gears is carried out using a joystick according to the scheme and is signaled by an indicator and segments of the signaling device, and is also duplicated by a digital indicator on the remote control KSEU tractors 2122 (integrated electronic control system). A special feature of the unit is the ability to change gears in one range without first depressing the clutch and stopping the tractor.

Rear axle

This part of the transmission is a gearbox that receives drive from the secondary shaft of the gearbox. The main gear is made in the form of a pair of bevel gears with circular teeth. The drive gear of the transmission is made integral with the secondary shaft of the gearbox, the driven gear is bolted between the differential housings.

Three-case closed differential with a spider, four satellites with spherical washers. The mechanism is mounted on two tapered roller bearings. The differential lock is carried out by an electro-hydraulic drive, which controls a dog clutch mounted on the inner edges of the final drive axle shafts. The connection of the moving part of the coupling with the stationary one ensures blocking of the differential side gears through the axle shafts.

Final drives are made in the form of two pairs of cylindrical gears. The drive gears are mounted on the splines of the differential side gear shafts. The driven gears are mounted on splined bushings installed in the rear axle housing. Friction clutches for tractor brakes are installed on the outer edges of the drive axle shafts.

The final drives of the rear drive wheels are made in the form of cylindrical planetary gearboxes located in sleeves on the axle shafts of the final drive.

Brakes with multi-disc friction clutches operating in an oil bath are installed on the drive shafts of the final drives. The control drive is hydrostatic interlocked with a pneumatic drive for the trailer brakes. The parking brake with independent manual control is combined with the tractor service brakes and is also interlocked with the pneumatic drive of the trailer brakes. The pressure to drive the brakes of towed devices is provided by the standard single-cylinder compressor of the tractor.

Front drive axle

The unit is portal, beam type with planetary-cylindrical final drive final drives. The main gear is a pair of bevel gears with helical teeth. The differential is self-locking with built-in limited slip clutches. The drive is carried out from the secondary shaft of the gearbox. Activation is carried out by an electrohydraulic drive of a hydraulic friction clutch.

The control system provides automatic and forced modes of FDA operation. In automatic mode, the system ensures that the drive is turned off when the steered wheels are turned at an angle of more than 25° or when the speed increases above 16 km/h, as well as when the permissible slipping value of the rear wheels decreases. When the speed decreases to 13 km/h, the axle drive is automatically switched on.

PTO

Tractors of the 2022 modifications with a synchronized gearbox are equipped with a four-speed independent PTO with “standard” and “economy” drive modes, the rotation speed of which is ensured by switching modes and changing the shanks of the connecting drive shaft. Standard mode corresponds to rotation speeds of 540 and 1000 rpm, economical mode – 770 and 1460 rpm.

The PTO gearbox is installed in the rear axle housing and is activated using a friction hydraulic clutch. The drive is carried out from the power shaft in the clutch housing through a two-speed gear reducer with two pairs of constant-mesh spur gears. The rotation speed is switched by a sliding gear clutch using a roller located on the left of the clutch body under the hydraulic lifting system pump.

Tractors 2022 of all modifications have a hydromechanical drive for engaging the rear PTO, where the control lever through a cable transmission controls a hydraulic valve that supplies pressure to the friction clutches of the gearbox. The extreme forward position of the lever turns on the PTO, the extreme rear position turns it off.

Machines of modifications 2122 have an electro-hydraulic drive that is activated by the corresponding buttons on the side control panel. Tractors 2122.6 have only a standard PTO operating mode with speeds of 540 or 1000 rpm. and the rotation speed changes only by changing the splined shank.

Chassis

The tractor is characterized by low pressure on the soil surface. To ensure increased traction and grip conditions with the soil and maneuverability, when performing work on swampy and waterlogged soils, the design of the chassis provides for the pairing of drive wheels. Changing the track of the rear wheels is carried out by moving the wheel hub along the axle or by moving the wheel from one side to the other. Changing the front track is carried out both by moving the wheels from one side to the other, and by changing the fastening of the wheel disk relative to the rim.

The front wheels are mounted on the flanges of the FDA wheel reducers. The rear ones are on hubs, which consist of split cone liners and a hub body.

Steering

The tractors are equipped with hydrostatic steering (HPS) with a gerotor-type metering pump. Direct rotation of the wheels is ensured by two double-acting hydraulic cylinders (Ts50x250) through the steering linkage. The power steering hydraulic pump is driven directly from the diesel crankshaft. When the engine is turned off, the control switches to manual mode, which requires significant effort when rotating the steering wheel.

Tractors with a reversible control post are equipped with an additional metering pump, which is powered by switching the hydraulic valve built into the hydraulic system when switching to the reverse control mode.

The steering wheel is adjustable in tilt relative to the horizon and in height along the axis of the steering shaft. The height is infinitely adjustable within 100 mm, the tilt has four positions ranging from 25 to 40° in 5° increments.

  • modification 2022 5, equipped with a standard D-260.4S2 engine and having some design differences.

On special orders, the equipment is equipped with a front drive shaft for attachments, a front linkage and ballast weights in various combinations (weight up to 1 t). It is possible to use a 2-seater cabin.

Tractors 2022 are equipped with a separate-unit hydraulic pumping station with an electro-hydraulic system for automatic control of tillage depth with power, positional, and mixed regulation. The system is equipped with a distributor RP-1523.1 with an electric regulator EHPHC1-OC or an integral hydraulic unit “BOSCH” (where the distributor is three-section, four-position in a block with the regulator ENR23-LS-R917001488).

The distributor has joystick control. Depending on the configuration, a block of electronic joysticks BED-01 or “BOCORO” is installed on the tractor, which are interchangeable in their functions. It provides mixed, positional and force control. The rear linkage is an articulated 3-point 4-link, through which agricultural implements are mounted. Semi-trailer and trailed vehicles are installed through a lift-category trailer hitch or a towing hook.

The MTZ-2022 front axle has an increased load-bearing capacity and is of the beam type. The steering of the model is hydrostatic with 2 cylinders in the steering linkage and a 2-rod cylinder. "Belarus-2022" is equipped with disc brakes operating in oil with control, supplemented by an amplifier. In MTZ-2022, 12- and 24-volt electrical equipment is installed to start the engine. Electronic information is displayed on the display using instrumentation. Sound and light alarms and lighting systems are based on imported and domestic devices.

The Minsk plant product is equipped with a safe cabin that meets the requirements of the OECD. It has opening rear and side windows, a sunroof, rear and windshield washers and electric windshield wipers. The air entering the cabin first passes through heating and filtration systems. MTZ-2022 also installs electronic information devices, a modernized control panel and a reversible control station.

The standard equipment of the Belarus-2022 includes a free-flow drain outlet, 4 pairs of hydraulic system outlets, a pendulum towbar, a towing device, a pneumatic single-line system and a cross member. How much does a used and new MTZ-2022 tractor cost?

"Belarus-2022" is not a budget tractor. Its advantage is not the price, but the quality. At the same time, the model cannot be classified as expensive either. The cost of a tractor produced in 2007-2010 will be 1.2-1.6 million rubles. It is unlikely that you will be able to buy a new MTZ-2022 for less than 2.5 million rubles.
